Use all company resources both in and outside the region to manage assigned strategic accounts and pursuit of new business at assigned accounts. Accounts will be concentrated in the Chicago area but may have account responsibilities with Decorative opportunities in or outside the central region. These accounts will largely be, although not exclusively large POP, bumper, and aluminum platers and Tier Ones.
There are several key activities:
Management and negotiation of key relationships with assigned and target accounts to aid the growth and capture of new business. Responsible for managing and directing the IL area technical service team to aid the maintenance, growth, and capture of assigned accounts. Other direct reports may be assigned.
Assisting with sales cycle and customer approvals at the OEM level for decorative finishes.
Leadership and resourcing of the commercial activities supporting the effort to maintain, grow, or capture new business at the assigned accounts.
Develop relationships at existing customer base and being able to maintain existing business.
Assist with develop strategic alliances/partnerships with OEM and Tiers within the Region and North America as assigned to drive business to our applicators related to the decorative markets.
Leverage existing contacts and relationships within the automotive decorative supply chain
Work with Decorative Product Line Manager for engagements and relationships to design strategies and enable us to direct business to our customer base
Assist with applicator approvals at the OEM and tier 1's for our decorative customers finishes.
Assist in growing business at major POP and Decorative accounts in the region and possibly throughout the Americas.
Direct sales responsibility for Chicago area and possibly Kuntz
Target account responsibility as assigned
Be part of the account teams to capture Tri Chrome business
Bring in 300K of new business on a yearly basis
Manage day to day activities of Chicago team - Macmurchy, Kiran, Racevise, Vincent, Lynch. They Service is Regional and has to be coordinated
Assist with trivalent chrome sales strategy in Central Region that will expand to NA.
Work directly with the regional director to develop, train, and use our Roadmap to Revenue sales process throughout the region on our Atlas platform.
B.S. degree with a minimum of a minor in chemistry.
6+ Years experience in Sales Account Management in an Automotive market preferably decorative.
Knowledge of plating and the supply chain.
