Overview

Account Managers develop sales/marketing action plans to maximize territory revenue, as well as provide customized business solutions for prospects and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Organization and accomplishment of sales activities in an efficient and economical manner consistent with sales objectives

  • Maintain excellent communication with external and internal customers

  • Keep fully informed regarding competitor developments

  • Safeguard all assigned company assets and proprietary data

  • Facilitate information meetings with Service Center team members

  • Effectively handle special assignments as directed

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in either sales, marketing or business or at least 5 years of comparable sales experience

  • Proven sales skills

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to travel to meet with customers

  • Knowledge of the surrounding geographical market

  • Knowledge of the LTL Industry

Designsensory seeks qualified candidates for our account manager role. This role is a client advocate within our walls. They help align our internal capabilities and resources so as to achieve client goals and objectives. The ideal applicant must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be dependable, responsible and professional in manner and appearance. The ideal applicant is organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated and possess an ability to work under pressure. Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Identifying, defining and consulting with clients about business and campaign requirements, goals and objectives * Establishing and formulating business, marketing and communications strategies * Creating and delivering ideas and final products to clients for review * Establishing and consulting on client budgets * Preparing proposals and presentation decks that report on results, strategies, tactics and schedules * Monitoring and chasing work progress * Analyzing, interpreting and presenting results * With your project manager, planning feasible project milestones and deadlines * Ensuring interdepartmental coordination and communication * Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques * Assisting in the preparation of project quotes and proposals This is a full-time position reporting directly to senior leadership. Telecommuter and part-time applications will not be accepted. The ideal candidate would possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or advertising related fields and have at least two years of experience in managing projects, teams or accounts. The candidate will enjoy high levels of responsibility and autonomy and should show an ability for creativity and strategic thinking. Advanced computer proficiency is required.
