Location: Kohler, WI

Opportunity

In collaboration with the field sales team (Engineering Solution Managers, ESMs), the Account Manager is responsible for supporting data center customers with specification reviews, quotes for new opportunities and management of existing orders.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with field sales as internal key account liaison for data center customers.

  • Manages pre-sales requests for proposals from field sales and prepares quotations. Quotes include information on proposed products, specification compliance statements, project timelines and purchase agreements. Work with end users, distribution partners and third-party suppliers.

  • Coordinates project meetings with internal Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Sales departments for large complex quotes and projects and External stakeholders.

  • Work with the Accounting department with regards to pricing, terms, profit targets, audits.

  • Follow-up on project submittals.

  • Provide project status reports to customers.

  • Coordinate release of all project documentation, i.e. submittals, for manufacturing.

  • Establish, maintain, and report on project manufacturing and delivery schedules.

  • Manages customer contract obligations and schedules for products and/or services to fulfillment.

  • Coordinates activities with shipping, installation and start-up as required by the contract.

  • Coordinate the timely resolution of warranty and service issues for key accounts.

  • Manages and maintains continuity of field service related issues and communications for key accounts.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an ABET accredited engineering program or equivalent experience.

  • A minimum of five years' experience in technical quoting, reading engineering drawings and project specifications and working with product lines of similar technical complexity.

  • Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build teams, make sound decisions, and drive action cross functionally.

  • Demonstrated people skills required to lead & motivate professionals in a matrix organization who are not direct reports.

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Travel is required 20% of the time.

VIEW JOBS 12/8/2020 12:00:00 AM 2021-03-08T00:00 Mergers & Acquisitions Manager Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity Under the leadership and direction of the VP or Director - Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions, the Manager - Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions will collaborate with Corporate and Business Unit management in executing initiatives that support Kohler's long-term strategic plan and growth objectives. Key activities will entail identifying, evaluating, due diligence review, valuation, and pre-integration planning for acquisitions, investments, and other business ventures, as well as participation in divestiture processes, on a global basis. Specific Responsibilities * Identification, Research and Analysis * Evaluate and monitor financial performance of Kohler Business Unit competitors. * Complete research assignments in designated industry / business sectors and identify suitable acquisition candidates. * Prepare business summaries of acquisition candidates for the VP or Director's Review. * Financial Modeling/Valuation Analysis * Provide valuation support through the regular updating and maintenance of appropriate comparable company and comparable acquisition databases related to key Kohler industry verticals. * Construct and maintain required valuation models / analyses (e.g., DCF, LBO, comparable company and transactions, cap rate analyses, etc.) for prospective M&A targets. * Collaborate with Business Unit accounting and managerial staff in creation of pro forma acquisition target projections. * Maintain valuation analysis and model templates and train junior staff in their use, ensuring adherence to valuation best practices. * Acquisition / Divestiture Process Management * Ensure timely communication of key deadlines and objectives. * Manage cross-functional due diligence team toward critical deliverables. * Maintain deal calendar and regular dialogue with key participants. * In context of divestiture activity, identify potential buyers, develop confidential information (i.e., selling) memoranda, manage sell-side due diligence information gathering and data room compilation, manage day-to-day buyer contact/inquiries, etc. * Due Diligence Process Management / Coordination * Perform financial due diligence in coordination with Business Unit accounting and third party professional resources. * Serve as daily point of contact regarding information flow to Kohler personnel, as well as requests from corporate functional specialists. Liaise with Business unit management, staff specialists and outside professional resources (e.g., accounting/tax/legal). * Manage and track due diligence data versus requests. * Collect and compile cross-functional due diligence results to inform valuation and transaction negotiation. * Ensure due diligence data capture in financial model / valuation analysis. * Maintain master file for due diligence request lists. * Business Case / Board of Director Presentation Development * Assist Business Unit management in developing financial projections and analyses. * Assist in preparing presentations of acquisition candidates for Kohler senior management and the Kohler Board of Directors. * Post-Acquisition Integration Planning * Assist in preparation of acquisition integration plans, including the identification of key integration value drivers, risks and mitigation actions to ensure success. * Assist in developing function-specific integration plans and associated timelines. * Other * Responsible for on-boarding, training and contributing to the growth and development of Financial Analysts into M&A (Finance Group rotational program). * Supervise preparation of M&A status update briefing materials for weekly meeting of M&A executive committee. * Maintain Acquisition Pipeline management / tracking tools. * Serve as a resource for M&A-related technical and market knowledge. * Other duties as assigned or required by the business. Skills/Requirements * Undergraduate BS degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics with demonstrated quantitative / analytical capability and excellent academic record. MBA, CPA or JD preferred. * Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in principal investing environment (corporate business development and/or private equity), investment banking, consulting or public accounting / transaction services. * Experience in private and public acquisitions of various sizes or investments, divestitures and related carve-out work domestically. * Expert knowledge of MS Excel and extensive experience in integrated financial and valuation modeling/analysis. Strong proficiency in use of MS Word and PowerPoint. Demonstrated aptitude for learning new software is preferred. * Energetic individual with demonstrated ability to manage a demanding work load in a multiple-engagement environment, while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail. * Excellent team, analytical, business judgment and verbal/written communications skills. * Ability and willingness to meet accelerated deadlines through flexibility in work mode and hours. * Position is based in Kohler, WI but candidate must have flexibility to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
