This position is a great opportunity for anentrepreneurially-minded person who enjoys making a difference in a start-up company. TheAccount Manager will be the primary point of contact for a group of ourinsurance company partners who appear on the website. This person is responsible for cultivatingthe relationship with their assigned partners and optimizing the partner'sperformance on the website. Theright person for this role must have strong analytical skills, proactive workethic, and move easily between multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to develop and maintainstrong relationships with others and have the desire to keep learning.

We are looking for candidates who are excellentcommunicators, as well as analytical, self-starting and organized. He or shewill also be capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities,with a strong desire to take on more responsibility as grows.


  • Acts as the primary point of contact for for assigned portfolio of our partners (insurance companies).

  • Develops and cultivates relationships with partners. Identifies key goals for partner in relationship with and work with partner to develop strategies to achieve those goals.

  • Proactively analyzes performance of assigned partners on the website. Develops and implements plans to maximize value for and the partner. Maximizing value includes improving quote volume, increasing conversion, optimizing the quality of traffic, and growing revenue for both the partner and

  • Acts as the face of to partners for requests, inquiries, and problem resolution. Responds to partners in a timely manner. Ensures requests and inquiries are aligned with business interests & set appropriate expectations as to timing and delivery of changes. Works with IT and rest of Carrier Management team to ensure delivery of changes. Monitor results to ensure expected outcome.

  • Along with Head of Account Management, conducts contract negotiations. Ensures that partners are complying with contract terms and conditions and assist with partner audits.

  • Supports monthly reporting and billing processes to ensure accurate performance data and resulting revenue generation.

  • Leads projects and cross-functional teams to improve performance or processes for partner companies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree required, business focus preferred

  • At least 4 years of relevant business experience

  • Strong analytical, process and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage and build relationships within and outside the organizations to influence decision makers and resolve issues with our partners

  • Ability to communicate with audiences of all levels, including CEO and Board of Directors

  • Strong organizational skills with proficiency in multitasking and balancing competing priorities

  • Willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges with minimal supervision

  • Insurance knowledge and experience especially product management strongly preferred

  • Travel: moderate within US to visit partner companies; possible opportunity for international travel
