As an Account Manager, you will work with an established client base and be responsible for maintaining and growing sales from these accounts using our industry leading solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high on-time renewal rates within a portfolio of current customers.

  • Grow business through cross-selling and up-selling.

  • Provide expertise and solutions-based selling with the entire suite of Cision products and services.

Qualifications

  • The ability to sell value at all levels over the phone.

  • A proven track record of growing business from an established client base.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • A consistent and documented track record for achieving monthly/quarterly/annual target metrics.

  • 2-5 years of sales experience focused on growing existing business or new business

  • Large account management or project management experience

  • Proven track record for closing large and mid-size companies

  • A communications, public relations or journalism background preferred

  • Ability to adapt, overcome objections, and learn complex solutions

  • Experience selling in the PR vertical is preferred

The AM will work closely with both our consultants and clients by managing the insurance renewal process and delivering benefit renewal packages. In addition, the AM will actively manage accounts by delivering continuous service and assisting clients with their employee benefit and compliance needs, questions or concerns. Experience and Skills: * Demonstrated relationship management skills * Ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring timely and accurate client deliverables, with effective problem solving and resolution skills * Group Benefits or other insurance/broker experience preferred * State Life/Health insurance license required (can obtain after hire) * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) Job Duties / Responsibilities * Assist in managing Employee Benefit Renewal Process * Assist/Consult on employee benefit plan designs * Assist/Conduct Employee Benefit Enrollment Meetings and Fairs * Proactively consult on the Affordable Care Act and Compliance Measures * Maintain client files and records in accordance with agency standards * Assist consultants with any escalated issues * Provide professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, business partners, and colleagues.
