What you'll do
In order to continue Belkin's status as market leader and to help built and maintain successful, long term relationships with our corporate partners. The Account Manager will be responsible for the development of named accounts and will work closely with chosen customers to maximize sales opportunities for Belkin products within agreed budgets and time frames.
How you'll do it
Sales: To maximize Belkin's sales opportunities within the sector and to confirm its position as market leader through the effective merchandising, marketing and stock profiling of Belkin items, whilst reviewing competitor's position, identifying potential or new market opportunities and all related sales opportunities and activities.
Relationship development: To ensure client satisfaction and to secure long-term partnerships by taking overall responsibility for client relationship management, working closely with partners to maximize their margin opportunity whilst monitoring client satisfaction through quarterly reviews with clients and line manager.
Personal Performance: To ensure maximum personal effectiveness through excellent communication of activities and successes with internal colleagues whilst making recommendations for process improvements.
What you'll need
Bachelor/Master or an equivalent educational degree
3-5 years of work experience in a sales environment. A background in selling large assortments is strongly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills on all levels
Excellent planning skills (including but not limited to forecast, P&L, promotions)
Can do mentality & Stress resistance
Good presentation skills and experience of formal presentations is required.
The success of this role will be further reliant upon excellent communication skills, an analytical outlook and professional, confident manner.
Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
For non-English speaking countries a good knowledge of English is required.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% international and/ or domestic.
You have a full driving license.
What you've done
3-5 years' experience in a sales capacity or equivalent position. Depending on channel, previously industry experience may be required
Excellent knowledge of the consumer electronics market (B2C & B2B).
You have specific knowledge and interest of the developments in technology and a working knowledge of the market sector as well as the marketing mix.
Shown strong and demonstrable business acumen and have a strategic commercial outlook.
