Position Summary:

  • Primarily focused on providing support to Sales and Account Management team on activities related to marketing, sales, and service of client and prospective client accounts.

  • May be responsible for service/claim issues relating to clients/accounts in order to assist client facing Account Managers/Producers with such things as service inquiries, claims, billing, and/or administrative issues.

  • Will coordinate and communicate team workflow and scheduling to maximize effectiveness of team efforts toward relationship building and client retention.

  • Staff at this level work under direct supervision and generally perform work for clients of low to moderate complexity, with little discretion or decision-making capability.

  • Involves no client geared travel with minimal face-to-face client interaction.

  • May ultimately be assigned direct responsibility over a small group of clients for hands on training purposes.


  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 or more years experience in Client Coordination and/or Claims Management.

  • License required

  • Able to quickly determine critical issues.

POSITION PURPOSE:Responsible for assisting the AP dealer network and personnel with technical service help by telephone, and occasional travel to job sites to assist in installation, site commissioning and addressing product issues. This position will involve supporting all of the AP products including heating, ventilation, feeding, and cooling systems used in swine production facilities. Responsibilities: * Being logged into the Cisco phone system and answering calls from the Technical Support Phone Lines * Keeping current with company changes in products. * Assist Callers with diagnosing problems, operation of product, finding parts and or part numbers with any of the AP products. * Entering calls into the Call Log for future reference with product quality issues, product improvements and departmental usage. * Alerting Quality Assurance personnel if a Call Log is put in as Alert status. * Having good product knowledge of all AP product lines. * Assisting dealers on site visits if and/or when necessary for service support. * Assist Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Sales to improve or correct issues with AP products. * Quoting AP core product lines for standard swine applications PROBLEM SOLVING: * Use schematics and wiring diagrams, and apply basic electrical knowledge and be able to help customers in troubleshooting and resolving problems. * Become familiar with the systems, machines, devices, etc. that are used in swine production facilities for heating, ventilation, and feeding of the animals. * Travel to sites to and assist in installation, site commissioning or addressing product issues. NATURE OF IMPACT This position will have responsibility as part of a team to provide service and support to our customers and dealers. They will also provide important feedback to our quality assurance team for quality issues, engineering team and product manager for possible enhancements to products. AREA OF IMPACT: Position plays a significant role in providing management with important technical & product information from the field and requires the ability to share information with Quality, Engineering, Sales and Manufacturing. Assisting dealers at job site may be required.
