Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is seeking creatively minded, data-loving interns to join our team in our Seattle office. Our 10-week, paid internship starts in June 2020 and will provide the opportunity to obtain unique experience at an award-winning agency. Interns will be placed across a variety of disciplines including (but not limited to): operations, account management, project management, strategy and creative.

Are you persuasive as all get out? Could you sell water to a fish? Is organizational skills second nature to you? Well, you're in luck because you just found this gem of a paid internship. As an account management intern, you'll be working with some of the best minds in the industry that want to see you kick @ss in your field.

What an account manager will learn:

  • Learn how to sculpt client feedback into constructive building blocks

  • Work with a strategy, creative, and data department to create engaging work

  • Participate in internal creative and strategy reviews.

  • Moderate and present well-polished work

  • Build and distribute briefs to help convey client demands

What an account manager will bring to the table:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior standing for fall 2020, or a spring 2020 graduate.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Applicant must be able to work 40 hours per week during regular business hours throughout the 12-week Internship Program.

  • Have a knowledgeable understanding of the advertising/marketing space.

  • Passion for the business, confidence, energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism

  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail

  • Balanced team player dedicated to client services.

  • A self-starter that takes initiative.

This program will run from June to August. Must be able to work in the Seattle area and secure housing (Wunderman Thompson will not cover the cost of housing).

Daily duties include:</p> <ul> <li> <strong><strong>Program Management</strong></strong> - Ensure that program delivery and safety standards are maintained, and that every participant has a positive and rewarding experience at Pedalheads. This will require lots of hands-on involvement teaching the kids.</li> <li> <strong><strong>Human Resources/Employee Relations</strong></strong> - Schedule and manage camp supervisors, instructors, and volunteers, mentoring and motivating your team and recording and entering payroll hours.</li> <li> <strong><strong>Customer Service</strong></strong> - Be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent customer service.</li> <li> <strong><strong>Administration</strong></strong> - Assist with on-site registration and processing payments for product sales.</li> </ul> <ul><li> <strong><strong>Operations</strong></strong> - Manage equipment and supplies for your site.</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p>We are looking for people with experience managing, coaching, or supervising youths ages 13 through 24, preferably in a camp or sport environment. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic. They will be dynamic leaders who bring out the best in their teams through mentorship, motivation, and hands-on leadership.</p> <p><strong>Commitment</strong></p> <p>This is a contract position from June to August 2020. Please note that site leader training on June 13 &amp; 14, 2020 is mandatory.
