Role Value Proposition:

The Account Management Consultant willprovide cross-market support functions across both regional and local markets in a field office while supporting senior sales staff in the internal and external post-sale activities associated with the acquisition of new business and in maintaining existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts post-sale enrollment meetings; presenting product information, distributing approved materials, collecting forms and answering questions and promotes, organizes, and attends enrollment meetings and benefit fairs for assigned customers.

  • Works with internal partners to resolve escalated issues, request needed plan performance reporting and develop marketing plans and presentation materials.

  • Actively participates in finalist meetings for prospective customers, stewardship meetings for existing customers and broker meetings to discuss both.

  • Ensures proper licensing and appointment paperwork is in good order for writing agents.

  • Demonstrates strong client-specific product knowledge and provides consultative assistance on issues related to their plans and stays informed of specific client activities taking place (acquisitions, divestures, layoffs, budget challenges, etc.) and actively participates in the implementation process.

  • Tracks renewal status and margin position, negotiation of rates, working with underwriting to request alternate plan designs as necessary and initiation of amendments borne out of final decisions and mentors newly hired associates and assists with process training.

  • Acts as team lead by managing service escalations for a multi-million dollar book of business

Essential Business Experience and

Technical Skills:


  • High School diploma

  • 8+ years customer service experience

  • Strong insurance product knowledge and underwriting skills


  • Bachelors degree

  • Life and Health license.

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and SalesForce

  • Ability to maneuver within multiple complex systems at same time.

  • Excellent presentation skills, oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills. Able to work well with others as well as independently.

  • Able to solve problems and think creatively.

  • Ability to recognize opportunities to recommend new product offerings.

An innovator that is willing to work across all areas of HR functionally and globally, to proactively support HR objectives through data flow and visualization, while supporting workforce planning process and objectives. This critical role will support all levels of HR business partners, COE leaders, and HR Leadership Team members with data and insights to support their objectives, while consulting on workforce planning processes. In this role you will lead a team of contract reporting analysts to provide data and analytics to support HR process and objectives while providing actionable metrics. Work closely with the COE teams as well as the HR Business Partners across all geographical regions on workforce planning implementation and data needs. Role reports to the global Associate Director, Workforce Planning and Analytics, but often works directly with Director level HR leaders and HRBPs at all levels of the organization. Key Accountabilities: * Design and implement proactive Data management, reporting and workforce planning approaches that enable HR and operations partners to achieve their programs and objectives * Develop and assess HR reports and data needs to provide actionable information for HR and business leaders. * Support the People Analytics function in partnering with HR business partners and the Finance team on the creation of annual workforce plans for their respective business units globally * Consult with HRBP and Operations leaders to create strategic workforce plans to meet future business objectives and models * Oversee data visualization and communication approaches for broader HR function * Partner with the HR and IT functions to develop and maintain common data definitions for workforce data inside HRIS and other reporting systems * Provide oversight of the outsourced reporting lead and Mumbai based reporting team. Essential Knowledge/Experience: * 10+ years of experience working with Business data to generate reports and recommendations for leaders and decision makers (including working with data visualization, integrated business data, global data and third-party data). * Master's in Business Administration, Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics or other related field. * Experience with Workday, Tableau desirable, but solid knowledge of comparable software matched with desire and ability to quickly learn will be given consideration. * Ability to transform data into clear reporting and data visualization, including creating appropriate communications vehicles * Ability to communicate complex concepts in a manner that is easily understood and acted upon across all layers of an organization, including the C-suite * Experience leading projects in a matrix environment and across a series of opposing priorities. * Collaborative problem solver who enjoys providing analysis and insight to spur discussion and interaction with business leaders.
