Summary of Position:

The Account Executive position is responsible for planning and managing marketing campaigns and keeping the project work on time and on budget. This position will be working heavily in the coupons spend. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following.

Key Responsibilities and Attributes:

  • Manage promotions from conception to completion for your assigned client

  • Assist the client in planning and strategy for marketing campaigns like coupons

  • Collaborate with client to assemble all necessary coupon specifications and complete applicable coupon request forms

  • Route coupon request forms to appropriate client cross-functional teams for budget approvals

  • Communicate coupon promotion details to suppliers

  • Request and route supplier contracts for client approvals, returning signed contracts and POs to suppliers

  • Utilize client provided coupon barcode to input coupon offers into supplier portals

  • Route coupon proofs to client to be scanned and validated

  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients, suppliers, and internal resources to ensure a flawless execution for each promotion

  • Manage promotion scope changes as needed while ensuring an on-time and on-budget execution

  • Master existing processes/procedures

  • Lead establishment and development of new or improved processes/procedures

  • Other duties assigned as needed

  • Build your Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Assist in the establishment and development of processes/procedures

  • Seek out additional training specific to couponing. Strive to become an expert in the coupon industry and bring valuable, actionable insights to the client

  • Strong Excel skills required

  • Effectively proofing own and others work to ensure accuracy

  • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

  • Demonstrate internal leadership and collaborate to deliver projects to clients with agreed upon scope

  • Ability to mentor, grow and work harmoniously as part of a larger team

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel. Above average proficiency in Excel is required. Typing skills should be a minimum of 55 wpm
