At WBR Connect, we are searching for an entry- or junior-level Account Executive to help drive attendance to our private, executive gatherings.

This division of WBR hosts highly curated, invite-only business meetings for VPs, SVPs and C-Suite executives; your responsibility will be to recruit hand-selected business executives for these tailored event programs.

Building audiences for Connect events requires an excellent communicator with a knack for building relationships. You will be the driving force behind new and ongoing sales opportunitiesimpacting our growth and success.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of inside sales, marketing, or staffing recruitment experience
  • Determinationwe need someone who is ready to do whatever it takes to hit goals
  • Money motivatedthis is a position with a healthy base salary and competitive commissions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Values learning, professional development, and a culture of ongoing feedback
  • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
  • Bachelors degree is required

Objectives of this Role:

  • Learn the ropes of sales from the ground up as well as develop any sales skills learned thus far
  • Generate leads from online research, conduct relentless outreach, build and nurture relationships from start to closeownership of the entire sales cycle
  • Contact senior-level executives via phone, email, and social platforms; cannot be easily intimidated
  • Represent our companys event products and services with integrity
  • Explain the benefits and advantages of attending our private business events
  • Travel to multiple events a year to support the programs you built audiences for
  • Consistently reach stretch bonus targets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior conference or exhibition sales, attendee acquisition, or speaker recruitment experience
  • Superior communication skills with customers and team
  • Proven capabilities in a customer service or sales role
  • Strong record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Conscientious, professional appearance
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated

General Summary: Partners with Risk Advisory Specialists to provide specific advice, service and solution delivery to clients and/prospects as respects their global program management. Responsible for managing an account load. Accountable for Multinational Rep. responsibilities. Liaison between the Service Offices, Client Executives, Risk Practices, and clients with International engagements. Align clients with the appropriate Marsh resource by identifying local and international experts. Partner with the Risk Practices on the placement of international business. Interact with insurers to ensure proper documentation is produced. Aid in account retention and growing the business via cross selling. Act as Multinational Point Person in Account Strategy Management Process and New Business Development. May serve as mentor to Senior Advisory Representatives or Advisory Representatives. Essential Functions: * Client Liaison: Analyze Client's industry, exposure and spread of risk to identify and explore solutions with respect the coverage nuances unique to geographical spread of risk. Identify issues & potential solutions to Risk Practices supporting market discussions and negotiations. Partner Client & Risk Practices in the 3D process to develop the appropriate program and premium structure for the client's needs. Perform complex research projects including analysis and interpretation of coverage conventions and requirements. Coordinate joint venture and stand-alone program placement as needed between local offices, Risk Practices and clients. Actively participate and contribute in Renewal Strategy Meetings with global clients. Lead client demonstrations and training sessions. Identify new and expanded revenue growth opportunities. General problem solving of global client issues. Timely communication on Regulatory developments. Partner with Client Executives and Risk Practice colleagues to broaden involvement in all lines of international activity. Collaborate with Risk Practices to develop strategy for international insurance program structure and compliance. Perform contract review and advise client on international insurance requirements in collaboration with Risk Practices and Servicing Offices. * Data Analysis: Oversee and analyze results of network activities to assure adherence to Rules of the Road Service Platform and to demonstrate value of Marsh network to Clients. Manage Review activities of Multinational Reps to ensure complete and accurate work product – Assuring Value-added activities and increasing the client connectivity. * Account Maintenance: Oversee completion of Global Policy Digest (GPD) and other Marsh tools. Be prepared to intervene and quickly escalate any issues to ensure satisfactory output. * Operations: Create service manuals for clients with more complex servicing requirements. Manage account pricing for global network activities and profitability. Monitor industry and client situation for risk changes and emerging Marsh capabilities.
