Position Summary:
Account Executive

If you are an experienced, world-class Account Executive with a highly successful software/technology sales track record, you may be a candidate to join our team.

We are currently seeking a results-driven professional with proven mid-market (<$3b) saas="" sales="" experience.="" this="" role="" is="" responsible="" for="" targeting="" and="" closing="" new="" direct="" business="" in="" a="" defined="" geographic="" or="" vertical="">
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for meeting their individual sales quota by closing new mid-market (banking, financial services, retail and other markets) business within their territory.

A proven track record of exceeding quota in a SaaS-based Sales role is required.

The AE is supported by a Sales Engineering and Business Development team, as well as a high performance marketing organization. The AE is responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from targeting through discovery, proposal, and close. Forecasting accuracy and proper resource alignment to opportunities is critical. Remote and face-to-face selling skills are equally important, as is the ability to tune standard sales tools to each unique sales opportunity.

The AE is expected to fully understand the prospects customer facing processes and to develop and manage multiple opportunities within each account.

Skills/Requirements An ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of mid-market sales experience and a proven track record in SaaS software sales

  • Proven track record of success in high-growth, fast pace, early-stage technology companies

  • Consistent above quota performance

  • Strong professional and consultative sales methodology

  • Solid mid-market sales strategy experience, selling to senior level business and IT professionals

  • Top notch formal and professional selling skills

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills and negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a team selling environment

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA is a plus

This role requires experience in technical concept/proposal development and design. The qualified candidate will fulfill the following responsibilities: 1. Development, maintenance and analysis of the Program Master Phasing Schedule (MPS) and Integrated Master Plan / Integrated Master Schedule (IMP/IMS) 2. Managing the schedule and cost objectives at the control account level using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) tools 3. Support to planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks 4. Developing the network/integrated work flow of schedule activities to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective use of engineering technical and other data, including schedule definition, structure and documentation 5. Establish performance measurement baselines (PMB), perform cost and schedule measurement, update schedules, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) oversight, data analysis and reporting 6. Ensure planning reflects all task assignments, schedule and budget identified within the control account 7. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to generate and review Basis of Estimates (BOE); evaluate BOEs for compliance to company and customer standard This position will be based in Tewksbury, MA. This position can be job grade G09 or G10 depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience. Required Skills: * 8+ years combined experience as a Planner and CAM * Expert in Microsoft Office Project * Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills; as well as mentoring and facilitation skills in dealing with management and technical staff * Experience in EVMS, IMS, & IMP or equivalent tools for managing programs * Strong judgment and decision making abilities, able to drive efforts to closure; able to effectively manage/coordinate multiple tasks and priorities * Required: This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Desired Skills: * Expert in Earned Value Management System (EVMS); Raytheon EVMS Certified * Expert in managing large schedules * Strong understanding of Program Controls and processes * Experience in execution of a disciplined engineering processes, scope management, risk and opportunity management * Experience in proposal development, particularly Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and BOE development, and other contract deliverable artifacts such as Statement of Work (SOW) * Experience in IMS Network Analysis and Critical Path Management (CPM) Methodologies * Experience in Cost Accounting Management (CAM) for managing finances and budget on programs * Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools * Experience in production/manufacturing including integrated circuit fabrication as well as sustainment programs * Existing Secret Security Clearance Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience required Bachelor's degree in science or engineering preferred This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
