As an Account Executive, you will:

  • Prospect accounts for new business.
  • Establish and work with partners in your territory.
  • Present and demonstrate cyber threat defense solutions to CISOs and information security experts.
  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Account Managers and Cyber Threat Analysts who will support you in performing Proofs of Value (POVs) as you close deals.

Requirements:

  • A four-year degree from a top university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is required
  • Between zero and five years of work experience is required (recent grads and soon-to-be grads are encouraged to apply)
  • Inside sales or sales experience, a plus but not required

Account Executives will also be given a month-long training program to bring them up to speed with our sales process and the latest trends and developments in the cyber security industry.

This position is open in San Francisco, New York City, Washington DC, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta and Boston.

At Wonderschool we work with Directors - an educator (generally former teachers or caregivers) that can open a school in their home. Our goal at Wonderschool is to build a scalable product that Directors can use to manage the entire experience of their school. Your goal will be to help Directors learn about Wonderschool and get started on their journey of starting a Wonderschool in an the most efficient of ways. You will work with the the marketing team, account executive team, and the Wonderschool executive team to achieve your goals. You will report to the Head of Sales who is located in San Francisco. This is a full time job based in New York.</p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p><p>The right person for this job is hungry to learn and succeed. You are able to take on the challenge of being adaptable as we learn and talented at working with the team to achieve our goals. You are comfortable on the phone and can represent Wonderschool in a professional manner. You may have experience as an SDR generating leads. You are goal oriented and, if you have done sales in the past, you have a proven track record of hitting quota. You want to explore a career in sales and see this role as a good place to learn and grow.</p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul> <li>Source leads: You will work to compile and source Director leads from your region with the support of marketing.</li> <li>Bring on new Directors: You will be the lead sales individual supporting Directors to commit to working with Wonderschool in the New York Area. You will have accountability for our monthly and quarterly goals.</li> <li>Build processes: Our sales team is new and growing. You will work with us develop processes to track success. You will bring your experience from other organizations to Wonderschool.</li> <li>Keep high integrity: It is very important that the Directors we bring on meet our quality standards and you will not let yourself, your peers, or the company lose sight of this.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Detail oriented &amp; organized: You will be communicating with hundreds of Directors at any moment in time which will require diligence in organization and a willingness to take the time to track your actions.</li> <li>Data driven: You are comfortable with numbers and capable of using data to inform your next actions. You track your calls, emails, and close rates, and you need this data to function.</li> <li>Driven &amp; a team player: You are driven by hitting and achieving your personal goals while still working collaboratively with your team.</li> <li>Willing to test: You understand how to test multiple approaches and share those learnings with your colleagues for the betterment of the team.</li> <li>Self-starter: You can learn quickly and then execute on your learnings.</li> <li>Great communicator: You can communicate politely and professionally on the phone and via email.
