Risk Strategies, a privately-held National Insurance Brokerage and Risk Management Firm with over 2,050 employees and 100 offices throughout the US & Canada, is seeking a motivated, resourceful problem solver and results oriented professional for an Account Executive role within our fast paced environment. The position requires very strong proficiency in both property and casualty, with an emphasis on casualty, excellent work ethic and a can-do attitude. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successes and the following abilities are required:

Primary Responsibilities and Duties will include:

  • Proactively manage a full book of business while providing M&A/Due Diligence support
  • Proactively drive discussions around plan performance and design
  • Knowledge of loss sensitive, alternative risk transfer, self-insured retentions and captive programs
  • Identify, analyze and quantify prospect/client exposures
  • Role requires M&A/Due Diligence support
  • Develop customized solutions for clients risk management needs
  • Develop conceptual programs as needed
  • In depth knowledge of policy language with ability to manuscript language for customized programs and coverage needs
  • Develop marketing strategies to obtain competitive pricing and terms
  • Provide coverage analysis on renewals, new business and due diligence projects
  • Compare and evaluate carrier policy forms
  • Maintain existing and develop new market relationships
  • Any other assignment that management deems appropriate


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Resident P&C License required
  • M&A/Due Diligence experience preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of insurance industry experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong experience in growing new revenue with current clients as well as contributing to new client acquisition
  • Proven experience managing multiple teams delivering on client projects
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal direction
  • Ability to thrive in an ever- changing high pressure environment/organization

Peakon's AE's need to be experts in managing a sales cycle in order to drive opportunities through the buying process as well as thought leaders in the HR Tech space to educate and inspire the customers they are selling to. You will be a part of the team that is bringing Peakon's mission to help organizations lead more engaged workforces to the US so looking to thrive in a growing market is crucial.<br></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul> <li>Hit a monthly revenue target made up of leads assigned to you by our SDR team and leads you have generated on your own</li> <li>Have an ability - and desire - to understand customers problems and sell solutions that solve those problems.</li> <li>Be ruthlessly efficient at drilling into deal blockers and disqualifying leads that are a bad fit.</li> <li>Take feedback from customers and funnel it into the product development process.</li> <li>Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline via Salesforce CRM.</li> <li>Help us define the sales strategy and build the sales organization</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>4+ years of SaaS selling experience, preferably in HR Tech</li> <li>Proven track record of building a client base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals.</li> <li>Ability to communicate and present to C-level or equivalent professionals.</li> <li>Ability to identify customer problems and propose comprehensive solutions for their needs.</li> <li>Comfortable conversing about management techniques and basic statistics (correlation, regression, distributions, etc.).</li> <li>Strong use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process.</li> <li>Ability to solve problems, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the sales organization.</li> <li>Extremely proactive and upbeat with strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Strong technical understanding and excellent presentation skills</li> </ul> Peakon New York NY
