Job Summary

SHI has a dynamic career opportunity for an experienced Sales Professional focused on new business development within our Public Sector Sales organization. The Account Executive's role will focus on developing new business with our existing customers and acquire new customers across a focused Named Account List. Working with our Sales Leadership, Internal Support, and our Training and Development Teams a successful candidate will be enabled to position SHI's Innovative Solutions and World Class Support to their Target Customer List.


Include but not limited to:

  • Develop Business from Existing Customers and Establish New Customers based on targeted sales techniques including but not limited to Cold Calling, Customer Meetings, Partner and Industry Networking, etc..

  • Understanding Customer's Business Objectives, IT Priorities and Initiatives

  • Positioning SHI's Portfolio of Products, Solutions, Services and Capabilities

  • Develop and Manage Strategic Relationships with Customer and Partner Contacts

  • Collaborate with Internal Support Teams Pre and Post Sales

  • Excel in a Team Selling Environment

  • Identify, Create, Develop and Manage Opportunities in the Sales Pipeline and Sales Management Platform to achieve Sales Targets and Goals

  • Continuing Education on Industry Trends

  • Travel for Customer Meetings and SHI Events


  • Minimum of 3-5 Years of Successful IT Sales Experience

  • Display a documented history of New Business Development

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Ambitious and Motivated with excellent time management, planning, and organization skills

  • Ability to travel as required by business

  • 4 Year College Degree

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced Degrees, Sales and technical certifications

  • Experience Selling Complex IT Solutions to Large Public Sector Customers

  • Working knowledge of Programs from Industry Leading OEMs such as Microsoft, Dell/VMware, HP, Cisco, Apple, AWS, Lenovo

  • Working knowledge of emerging technologies such as Cloud, Security, IoT, Digital Workplace

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE MANAGER BROWARD COUNTY, FL Summary & Objective The Account Executive Manager provides supervision and direction to the Account Executive team to achieve growth expectations according to revenue, census and start of care budget goals as identified by the Executive Director and Senior Management Team. Essential Functions * Assist the Executive Director in the development, implementation and facilitating marketing strategies based on analysis of the market and organizational policies. * Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to Account Executives. * Monitors standards regarding staffing to ensure adequate market penetration and fiscal responsibility. * Works closely with the Executive Director to create, develop and implement strategies to maximize target audience groups or individuals. * Evaluates performance and service delivery during supervisory assessments with each assigned staff member. * Coaching and motivating the Account Executive Team to a high level of effectiveness. * Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with existing and potential customers. * Collaborate with the Executive Director in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to meet community needs. * Manages and administers the marketing budget. * Evaluate operational issues to determine competitive strategies and staying current with the latest trends in hospice delivery. * Work collaboratively with Senior Management in ensuring efficient campaign strategies are integrated and implemented. * Assist in developing an evaluation process to gain feedback from referral sources. * Communicates with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals in regard to interested, prospective and/or current patients. * Participate in educational activities related to hospice and palliative care. * Making hiring and staffing decisions within the marketing department under the guidance of the Executive Director. * Under the guidance of the Executive Director assists in building and developing an Account Executive team that is competent, dedicated, hospice knowledgeable and efficient. * Frequent travel to meet the day to day business needs of the hospice organization and multi-site operations throughout the assigned region(s) and territories * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position. Other Duties * Collaborate with hospice operations team to positively impact the assigned market and region. * Partner with all members of the medical community to promote hospice services. * Collaborate in planning of any event that highlights hospice services. * Assists the Admissions Manager in overseeing the referral to admissions process to achieve growth goals. * Manages conflict and complaint resolution when necessary. * Ensure effective communication with Interdisciplinary Teams and other operational departments. * Responsible for on call emergencies, including weekends and holidays. * Promotes positive employee engagement, teamwork, mutual respect and safety work practices. * Maintain required mandatory skill updates. * Comply with all policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations. * Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibility * May serve as an interim department leader depending on need Knowledge & Experience Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in Business Development for Hospice field strongly preferred. * Must have knowledge of computer office/clinical software(s). * Extensive knowledge of EMR software Suncoast strongly preferred. * Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
