Our Newest Opportunity:

The Account Executive is responsible for the strategic management of an assigned book of business.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Foster and manage overall relationship with clients to ensure retention of mid-market and large group book of business and high client satisfaction;

  • Create and communicate multi-year strategy for clients;

  • Remain up to date and knowledgeable on current industry, market and regulatory changes and ensure clients remain educated on relevant and key updates.

  • Ensure client support teams handle client inquiries appropriately and efficiently.

  • Work closely with Managing Director to improve processes or services as needed.

  • Manage escalated service issues to ensure resolution and client satisfaction.

  • Manage overall strategy of the renewal process with the client service team;

  • Review client team's RFPs to ensure proper strategy is being executed;

  • Work closely with account manager(s) to identify markets for solicitation of new business;

  • Analyze market proposals for verification of coverages, premiums, and competitiveness.

  • Review coverage contracts for accuracy of policy provisions.

  • Conduct client meetings regarding pre-renewal strategy, renewal, and post renewal follow-up;

  • Negotiate client coverages and premiums with carriers;

  • Oversee new carrier and plan implementations for assigned book of business;

  • Engage in optimal and appropriate usage of internal CRM system;

  • Perform additional responsibilities and requests as requested.

Required Skills:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with C-suite clients and prospective clients;

  • Must possess the ability to work with clients at a senior strategic level;

  • Strong leadership skills;

  • Must be self-motivated and disciplined;

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;

  • Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Office;

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software program, preferred;

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines and work well with others.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in account management in a consultative role;

  • Current Property & Casualty insurance license.

  • Familiarity and practical knowledge of quoting process and tools;

  • Extensive knowledge of P&C products.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
