About the Company:

This company has access to 400+ owner-operated trucks, 30,000+ carriers, and has a healthy agent program. They have been so successful that they were known to make an acquisition or two in order to better serve their customers. If you name a mode, chances are that they move it but they focus most of their time on Truckload, Intermodal, Flatbed, Dry Van, Refrigerated, Specialized, LTL, and International. Our client has proprietary software as their TMS, offers you the ability to work remotely, and if you choose to work on-site youll have access to work at one of the best places in the Pittsburgh area!

About the Opportunity:

In order to continue their aspirations for growth, they are looking for an Account Executive. This role will cold-call, hunt, and develop new business as well as maintain any current book of business brought to the company. You will conduct price and service negotiations with customers, enter orders into the TMS system and perform excellent customer service as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with a current book of business. Candidates must have three years of relevant work experience and be open to working remotely or on-site in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Duties:

Preserve any current book of business brought to the company
Form and maintain executive-level relationships with shippers
Conduct price and service negotiations with customers
Create quotes and sales proposals for company services
Making daily outbound sales calls to prospective customers and cold leads
Enter orders and operate TMS with excellent proficiency
Maintain order and information accuracy
Perform excellent customer service as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 Years of logistics sales experience
Previous experience working with Truckload, Intermodal, and Dry Van freight
Previous experience working with Refrigerated, Specialized, LTL, and International freight is a plus
Able to sell multiple modes of freight
High-energy with a positive attitude
Strong attention to detail
Capable of managing and motivating employees effectively
Tech-Savvy and comfortable with programs like Microsoft Office
Previous book of business is preferred
No Non-Compete is preferred
Able to work on-site in Pittsburgh, PA, or remotely if desired
College degree or equivalent experience is required
