The Successful Candidate will be able to:

  • Establish mutually beneficial working relationships with Elavon business partners.

  • Utilize self-sourcing/networking activities, i.e., civic clubs, business luncheons, etc.

  • Identifies new prospects based on knowledge of merchants, markets, products and services.

  • Institutes a territory calling program which provides for regularly scheduled visits to customers and business partners. Territory will be the Seattle / Renton / TacomaWoodbury Region.

  • Sets goals and gains commitments from business partners and customers

  • Demonstrates an understanding of how to analyze and use business tools and reports.

  • Portrays a professional, cooperative and enthusiastic image at all times when associating with business partners, merchants and Elavon employees.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Two to three years of sales experience in the financial services industry

  • Ability to travel

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations

  • Strong marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills

  • Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues

  • Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

As a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) you will be helping to improve the lives of our clients and the well-being of their businesses through financial solutions, education and advice. The BRM manages a portfolio of business clients by building relationships and providing financial advice with a focus on client experience and risk management. Business Banking is looking for a BRM to develop new business and deepen existing relationships to position Chase as the primary bank for our clients. * Provide the best in client advice and service and develop the relationship to ensure a seamless client experience throughout Chase. * Acquire, manage, and retain a portfolio of 70 – 80 business clients with annual revenue of $1 - $5 million for your assigned branches; provide deposit and cash management solutions and manage credit opportunities up to approximately $1.5 million. * Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing comprehensive and customized business banking solutions tailored to the financial needs and circumstances of their businesses.
