As an MTM, Account Executive, you will develop and execute a set of sales strategies that will allow you to expand MTM's position as a leading provider of IT solutions within the SMB Market. The expectation for the Account Executive will be to drive a pipeline that enhances MTM position within the local marketplace, and to close said opportunities. This position is a pure hunting role. One that will be responsible for business development, new account acquisition, &, overachieving your sales targets. Important activities include prospecting, Working with MTM strategic partners at the Account Management level and driving a concise agreed upon business development plan.
Cultivate New Accounts. Your primary duty is to build a pipeline that will allow for repeatable profitable growth through new business development and ongoing relationship management within NEW LOGOS.
Manage weekly and quarterly forecast effectively through the MTM CRM Tool SFDC.
Leverage the MTM support team where applicable to help with business development activities..
Support local Marketing initiatives
Consistent sales production is required. You must close new business on a consistent monthly basis
Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
Primary Job Duties
Understand the company's industry, business processes and service offerings.
Prospect and recruit new customers, leveraging prior relationships and effective prospecting procedures and processes.
Develop and build relationships with local strategic MTM OEM sales representatives.
Market the company's services through cold calling, & appointment scheduling
Keep track of sales activities including new clients, potential clients, current and past clients through MTM resources and tools.
Communicate customer needs to service delivery and operations as required.
Maintain sales competency within core OEM Partner community
Any Business Development activities that will have a measurable impact in closing New Business within New Logos.
Education and Skill Requirements:
Three to Five years of proven Hunter experience within IT Services
Knowledge of and proven track record in the VAR business
Bachelor's degree or equivalent account management experience is required.
Strong Hunting skills a must.
Industry Sales Certification would be desirable.
Preferred candidate will have prior experience selling advance technology solutions leveraging a consultative led approach
Self-starter with ability to build client relationships, communicate product knowledge and help impact a customers buying cycle.
Proven track record in overachieving quarterly sales targets
Strong administrative skills including but not limited to PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Salesforce.
Ability to craft and executive an Account Plan, & associated pursuit plan where and when applicable.
Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments at all levels of the company
Able to demonstrate strong personal relationship skills.
