METER Group, Inc. USA is seeking an Account Executive for its METER Food Division. The successful candidate will have the emotional intelligence to provide excellent customer service and salesmanship to clients. This individual will balance a variety of sales and support tasks to provide the customer with an excellent customer experience from the initial conversation through the complete lifecycle of the product.
The role of the Account Executive is strongly connected to METER Group's long-term vision and goals and is responsible for managing the business relationships with METER's clients, known as accounts, key accounts or strategically important partners. The AE contributes to the development and growth of the organization by planning sales activities to achieve targets and quota for each account or product segment. Using our Salesforce CRM system as the main tool to document all client interactions and report issues that affect clients' long term loyalty, the AE helps develop future generations of products and services by identifying trends that enable us to solve problems.
An AE would be responsible for maintaining and growing METER's "Beast" Food products. It is their responsibility to ensure the success of the team through the success of the products in this segment.
Develop strong and meaningful long-term client relationships.
Assess client needs and provide relevant products.
Deliver new revenue every month, both with new customers and upsells.
Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including call scripts, audience segmentation, and approach.
Qualify interested candidates and arrange sales appointments.
Deliver sales presentations to one or multiple prospective contacts at a time.
Oversee and guide your team members to drive results.
As an internal expert, actively contribute to the development and optimization of the sales channel.
Use SalesForce and other systems to track and monitor client activity
Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related field or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated communication skills, including experience presenting complex information clearly and concisely, strong phone etiquette, and ability to prospect and nurture sales leads.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
The ability to learn our enterprise resource system.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Great organizational skills with the ability to follow-up with clients.
Must be willing to live within a commutable distance to Pullman, WA (no remote candidates considered).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
Strong professional and/or academic references.
Background check results satisfactory to METER.
