The Technology Account Executive at Keste is a hunter role responsible for identifying and qualifying new opportunities in the assigned region to meet or exceed annual sales goals. This is a consultative sales position with experience selling Professional Services around Enterprise Software Solutions as follows:

Required Skills:

Primary Requirements

  • 6-8 years of proven experience exceeding sales quota selling professional services involving software solutions through a systems integration or consulting company

  • Generate new business leads and opportunities (hunting)

  • Selling to 'C' level as well as up and down an organization

  • Maintain values of honesty, integrity and trust

  • AWS or VMWare or Salesforce selling

  • Drive and support sales events and marketing campaigns

  • Consultative and innovative self-starter

  • Territory development and management expertise

  • Entrepreneurial and life-time learner

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Maintain sales activity in Keste CRM system of record

Required Skills and Approach

  • Offers clients a unique consultative perspective

  • Drives two-way communications

  • Knows and understands customer value drivers

  • Identify's economic drivers for critical customer IT projects

  • Comfortable discussing budgets that lead a client to a decision

  • Understands the roles of people across many business functions and levels and how to engage with the relevant process owners and decision makers.

  • Strong critical thinking skills to help buyers diagnose process problems and can distinguish between symptoms and root causes.

  • Asks relevant diagnostic questions, listens well and effectively identifies a customer's core issues

  • Experience with the risks and implications of a customer's business problem

  • Fluent in the business disciplines of strategy, finance, planning, governance, change management, and program management

  • Understands proven transformation methods a client organization can accept and confidently adopt.

Required Experience:

  • 6 + years of proven success in meeting or exceeding annual sales goals

  • 6-8 years of Business Development experience

  • 4+ years of marketing experience

  • Solid background in Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel and Power Point


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science

  • Master's Degree a plus
