Your job.

Indeed Hire is one of Indeed's fastest growing new products which provides employers with a cost-effective alternative to traditional staffing agencies. Indeed Hire balances recruiting automation technology with a team of hiring specialists to deliver high quality hires at a fraction of the cost. The Indeed Hire value proposition is outsourcing time-consuming tasks like job posting, managing applicants, candidate communication, candidate rejection, and offer negotiation.

This Account Executive, Indeed Hire will join a sales team to work collaboratively with team members to specifically sell Indeed Hire. You are a polished Sales professional that understands how to strategically and effectively navigate client partnerships and cross-functional communication to drive adoption of the Indeed Hire product.

About you.


  • Position and sell Indeed Hire to help employers solve their recruiting challenges

  • Conduct live product demonstrations over the phone, via webinar, and face-to-face where applicable

  • Help evaluate, build, and manage sales pipeline, growing successful client relationships for Indeed Hire

  • Help scale sales processes including lead generation and client marketing

  • Analyze client success and present monthly analytics reports

  • Facilitate and support sales initiatives to achieve sales goals

  • Work cross-functionally with the Hire team within Sales Strategy in Global Product Commercialization to resolve challenges and identify scalable opportunities for selling Hire

  • Maintain and manage the client relationship in collaboration Indeed Hire recruiting team (the hiring specialists)


  • 1+ years of sales experience

  • Proven track record delivering against sales targets

  • Ability to build strategic partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally

  • The ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly

  • Experience managing leads with an online Client Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus

  • Exceptional written, verbal, phone and presentation skills

  • A metrics-oriented, need-to-win attitude

As an Account Executive, you will be will generate sales and achieve sales goals through responding to incoming calls while also prospecting for new clients. You'll provide exceptional service to all customers consistent with the Design Within Reach mission. Our Virtual Studio is comprised of product and sales experts who work with clients virtually to tell the story behind the product by esteemed designers such as Charles and Ray Eames and Jens Risom as well as leading manufacturers like Herman Miller and Knoll. As an Account Executive in the Virtual Studio, you'll report to the Virtual Studio Director. What you'll do: You'll have opportunities to design spaces, reach goals, build sales and build relationships every day as you... * Present product information in a compelling manner to customers to educate and increase awareness while building sales. * Demonstrate superior customer satisfaction by combining your sales skills, product information and design knowledge to exceed client expectations. * Inquire about the needs of the customer to uncover unique and/or unknown needs and sales opportunities while building client relationships. * Respond to incoming calls in a professional manner. * Create sales through communication of products & sales promotions . * Utilize IT/IS systems including order entry; accurately capture all customer & order information. * Support and develop existing customer base while maximizing new sales opportunities. * Initiate phone calls to prospect for new business & follow up on leads. * Communicate customer feedback for management review. * Collect and verify customer information by tracking all inbound e-mail and phone inquiries. * Participate in product training using company intranet, design books, product information system, design periodicals and other resources. This might be you if you have the following skills and abilities... * 1 to 4 years of experience in a high-volume sales/retail environment; Retail design experience preferred. * Passion for and knowledge of design. * Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties; both verbally and in writing. . * Ability to identify and close sales opportunities and convert prospects to customers. * Attention to detail; outstanding problem-solving/multi-tasking skills; strong follow-through skills. * Innovative; continually seeking ways to build relationships and refine processes. * Proficiency in MS Word and experience with Microsoft Excel/Access. * Available to work weekends. * College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
