Role Summary:Responsible for managing the long-term success of GE's relationship with a set of key accounts to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and GE Healthcare. Drive orders and sales growth. Develop and execute a One GE Healthcare sales strategy to capitalize on our broad portfolio of products, services, and solutions.
This person will be responsible for one National Key account and one regional IDN with multiple facilities in the territory
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the GE Healthcare Account Team encompassing total responsibility for 100% of the GE Healthcare business at assigned accounts
Achieve sales, orders and margin targets for GE Healthcare sales in assigned strategic accounts while managing costs within budget
Analyze accounts to develop a business plan and strategy that creates new business opportunities for all GE Healthcare products & services. Drive marketing programs at the account level.
Lead and leverage the entire Account Team across sales and service to provide the necessary technical, clinical and business content to customers as needed
Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business of the assigned accounts, including customers' key initiatives and priorities, and keep GE Healthcare Region Manager, Zone Manager and Product business leaders informed and appropriately involved
Develop & implement Goto-Market plans with Zone cross functional teams to achieve results through effective project proposals, negotiations, and contracts. Grow GE's share of customer investments in capital and operational expenditures.
Establish and enhance relationships at CXO level with account headquarters through responsive resolution of issues and addressing customer needs by integrating all appropriate GE Healthcare resources. Build long term strategic alliance with the portfolio of accounts to continue to add value.
Stay current on knowledge of healthcare market dynamics and trends
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation
Previous experience in the Healthcare industry and/or commercial sales
Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages
Excellent presentation, negotiation and closing skills
Strong relationship building skills
Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization and work well within a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language
Willingness and ability to live and travel within your specified geographic region (50% travel)
Ideal Candidate will be based in Northern Southern California Territory
Valid motor vehicle license
Desired Characteristics: Proven account management and project planning skills
Direct or indirect management experience, preferably in a large company with a matrixed environment
Healthcare capital equipment sales experience
Knowledge/experience with GE Healthcare product portfolio
Strong understanding on the US Healthcare system and buying groups
