The Sales team is responsible for growing Currency's monthly net new transaction volume through the sale of Currency's products, primarily CurrencyPay. You will focus on creating long-term value by helping equipment sellers leverage our platform to sell more equipment and by helping borrowers/buyers easily determine what type of equipment they want to buy and how they want to pay.
Day to day, you will be focused on identifying and negotiating new partnerships, finding new revenue opportunities, and providing feedback internally to help optimize current products.
Responsible for uncovering and sourcing new partnerships
Learning the details on all of Currency's product offerings
Identify and prospect new partnership accounts and associations within a network of approved dealers.
Identify and prospect new partnership accounts within approved vertical markets.
Research the prospective partner and market business needs.
Outreach to the prospective partnerships via phone, and email.
Set appointments for demos of Currency's products.
Build relationships with the key decision makers and serve as the primary point of contact throughout initial onboarding stages
Advise Business Development on strategies for partners to grow sales through Currency's product offerings during the first 90 days.
Introduce partners to key internal stakeholders of the signed partnership, including Account Management, Funding, Syndication, Marketing, Accounting.
Available as needed to support Business Development on their mission to grow transaction volume of their accounts.
Adhere to Currency internal policies and procedures, including ensuring timely and accurate data entry to Currency internal systems (salesforce.com / Oracle) for all client-related information
BA/BS degree required.
1-3+ years of applicable work and/or internship sales experience required.
1+ year sales or experience carrying a revenue target with a track record of top performance preferred. and experience in a sales leadership role.
Experience carrying a revenue target preferred with the ability to develop compelling strategies that deliver results.
Proactive and independent with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
Leader with the demonstrated capacity to motivate and work well with others.
Experience with SaaS sales and Salesforce platform a plus.
Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others.
Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and forecasting skills. particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders.
