Who We Are:

CUMULUS | Macon, GA operates five radio stations in the Middle Georgia area. Our stations include: WDEN-FM 99.1 Country, 940 WMAC-AM Talk Radio, 93.7 WPEZ-FM Adult Contemporary, 95.1 WMGB-FM Contemporary Hit Radio, 92.3 WLZN Urban Contemporary. The cluster of five stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis. In addition, we offer a portfolio of digital products for our business customers.

The Account Executive identifies and develops new business opportunities; grows existing client relationships; offers solutions that help clients achieve their business goals; closes business and meets or exceeds set sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Able to identify client business needs by gaining a deep understanding of their goals, objectives and processes as well as their external environment including key market and consumer trends to proactively develop customized advertising solutions to meet client objectives

  • Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations (broadcast, digital, events); negotiation and closing

  • Beyond our broadcast products, have strong familiarity and become full versed in selling both Cumulus' station digital assets (e.g., streaming, stations website and social advertising) and digital audience extension products to deliver a complete marketing solution to advertisers

  • Excel at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clientele by networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals or other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects

  • Follow all station and corporate procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts and competitive analysis

  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Cumulus in the marketplace

  • Think creatively and generate original ideas

Job Requirements:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role

  • Excellent presenter to clients of sales opportunities and post-sale successes

  • Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects

  • Comprehension of sales metrics in order to fill a sales funnel and robust pipeline of residual business

  • Positive attitude with the willingness to get beyond comfort zone to grow professionally

  • High energy and passion for the job

  • Flexible and creative

  • Digitally savvy

  • 1-3 years in Media Sales background preferred but not required

It's about providing clarity and hope.</p><p>The Women's Health Account Executive is responsible for closing new business in the specialized testing market. This includes owning the call point on OBGYN, fertility clinics, and reproductive endocrinology, perinatology, and maternal fetal, in addition to hospitals. The Women's Health AE will maintain an ongoing relationship with key decision-makers to ensure successful execution of the agreement and continue to seek opportunities that strengthen the Quest Diagnostics relationship with these customers.</p><p>This is a field-based sales role covering South Georgia (Savannah, Macon, etc.).</p><ul><li><p>Drive sales in assigned districts through up selling of existing accounts, new lead generation, referrals and establishing relationships with prospective customers</p></li><li><p>Target and close new specialty testing opportunities</p></li><li><p>Responsible for working directly with assigned Account Executives in the assigned district.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products (i.e. Quanum, e-orders, e-prescribe)</p></li><li><p>Prepare and present proposals and bids</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company polices and government regulations</p></li><li><p>Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly</p></li><li><p>Provide subject matter expertise for associated specialty testing</p></li><li><p>Maintain and pursue knowledge in associated specialist testing area</p></li><li><p>Provide immediate support for less complex issues</p></li><li><p>Partner with and notify Hospital or Physician Representative of complex issues or when full-touch service is required.</p></li><li><p>Several overnights per month</p></li></ul><p>Required Work Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Three or more years of sales experience in selling business to business with a history of documented sales success.</p></li><li><p>Prior responsibility for closing new business and expanding existing relationships</p></li><li><p>Prefer experience in healthcare, laboratory and/or diagnostics sales selling to medical professionals</p></li><li><p>Women's Health sales experience/call points strongly preferred</p></li></ul><p>Knowledge:</p><ul><li><p>Knowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of the laboratory industry</p></li><li><p>Strong medical/scientific background and contemporary understanding of both genetics and molecular diagnostics testing.</p></li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills</p></li><li><p>Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills</p></li><li><p>Solid PC skill including Microsoft Software.</p></li></ul><p>Education:</p><p>Bachelor's Degree (Required)</p><br> Quest Diagnostics Incorporated Macon GA
