The Account Executive is an outside business-to-business sales professional who starts out with our robust training/onboarding program and is responsible for retaining and growing current accounts and for gaining new market share in a given territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify new potential customers and sell software solutions, video conferencing, SMART Technology, Managed Print Services, Managed Network Services, and Xerox hardware.
Maintain sustained sales activities: phone calls, prospecting, qualifying and making customer calls, appointments, assessments, proposals, database updates and closing new business.
Maximize cross-selling by providing a consultative approach to all sales calls.
Utilize a CRM, 3rd party database, and the internet to research prospects and qualify leads to increase contact to appointment ratio benchmarks.
Attend and participates in sales seminars and sales meetings to develop sales skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
BS/BA degree in business or other related field
Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred
Previous experience in the technology field preferred
Previous experience with building relationships and trust with clients
Proficiency using MS Office, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word and the internet for research
English (reading, writing, verbal)
Basic business math
Valid drivers' license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage
