Due to the continued rapid growth of our Electronic Security group, we are currently seeking an Account Executive to help us to further expand our business.

This is a sales role with an emphasis on lead generation and relationship building. Working from your home office, you will set appointments with and present our commercial electronic security products and services to national and large regional accounts. We offer a generous base salary plus competitive commission on product sales, as well as recurring revenue on our service packages. What's more, our world-class staff will take care of designing your clients' systems, leaving you free to do what you do best.

Essential Functions:

As an Account Executive, you must combine a hunter's drive to gain new accounts and attract market share with strong and dynamic relationship-building talents. You will need to be highly organized and detail oriented, with exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. A solid background in electronic security sales is also a must.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the sales and delivery of commercial electronic security solutions preferably in the Financial sector

  • Prior experience in the sales and delivery of consultative service solutions

  • Minimum 5 years of experience attaining or exceeding high sales quotas in comparable accounts and/or markets

  • Successful and proven cold calling, networking, and lead generation experience

  • Proven negotiation acumen

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive service/account outsourcing strategies

  • Availability for extensive travel within assigned territory

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred

Nature and Scope: * Deliver matrix bookings quotas in the $25-50M range. * Travel 50% to 75% Responsibilities & Requirements: This position will provide effective sales support for regional targeted industrial products, opportunities/ markets and to assure attainment of targeted sales objectives. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: * Meet and/or exceed sales targets for the regional Targeted Industrial Products team and/or exceed other defined Sales Support objectives for the territory. * Identify and define business development opportunities within the assigned region. Use analytics to prepare plans which assist our teams in securing the business. * Provide input to the proposal process and develop strategies to ensure we make the most competitive technical and commercial offerings. * Support Management in the settlement of warranty disputes and field problems. * Develop and implement business development "programs" and sales strategies with the Sales team and Operations to grow the business profitably. * Maintain good relationships with Customers and Company's personnel to ensure continued Market Growth. * Routinely report activities to Management on all pertinent issues related to market changes through use of Monthly forecast, Weekly reports, and other reports as may be directed. * Actively participate in and provide input into the product development teams and support their initiatives. * Communicate effectively with plant, engineering, customer service, and other personnel to ensure objectives are achieved. Requirements include: * Industry: 5 - 10 years in the Vacuum pump market * Functional Experience: 5+ years of Technical Sales / Business Development * Baseline foundation of knowledge of mechanical seals, pumps, compressors and other rotating equipment - preference for experience with Flowserve's products and services supported under the Specialty Products discipline. * Ability to independently identify and resolve project issues * Excellent team-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills * Enthusiastic, positive energy and motivated * Excellent presentation, oral, written communication, analytical skills and proven proficiency in Microsoft office Preferred Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred.
