The Account Executive - Collision is the primary interface that is responsible for the development of business relationships with current ALLDATA Collision customers. They will provide post-sales support to current ALLDATA Collision customers, identify and grow sales opportunities in assigned territories. Product development support, post sales relations, customer retention, sales skills, follow-up and action planning are key elements of this position.
Position Responsibilities- Other duties may be assigned:
Welcome and setup new customers
Contact customers to review their business and ensure customer loyalty
Resolve outstanding customer issues in a timely manor
Renew existing subscriptions
Identify sales opportunities to increase customer profitability and drive company revenue.
Work with other departments to deliver maximum customer retention, sales revenue and net sales profit.
This position has no direct reports.
High School graduate or equivalent education and/or experience
3-5 years' account management or sales experience
Strong customer facing skills (executive presence, writing skills, phone skills); demonstrates a highly professional demeanor
Takes ownership of customer issues and drives to resolution
Sales to existing customer experience
Ability to work collaboratively within the ALLDATA organization
Ability to communicate and comprehend positions and interests, manage conflict, develop alternatives, and compromise appropriately
Ability to set and communicate expectations; skill in mediating and resolving problems
Strong listening skills
Self-motivated, strong work ethic
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
Bi-lingual is a plus
Collision and/or automotive knowledge a plus
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
