Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This Midwest/ Chicago Channel Account Executive expands our sales coverage by on-boarding, leading and leveraging partners to sell Curvature products & services within a given territory. We are looking for an ambitious sales professional and leader to be part of a fast-growing company that rewards self-direction, celebrates innovation, and bends the trajectory of an industry in favor of our partners and their clients. This role will focus primarily on new Channel Partner development, demonstrating quarterly and annual growth within Mid-market and Enterprise organizations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect, identify and build relationships with new partners

  • Present Curvature's value proposition, what the value proposition solves for our partners and customers, and on-board partners (contracts, pricing, engagement, etc.)

  • Train & educate partners to sell on our behalf, as an extension of Curvature's sales force

  • Manage and engage existing partners to drive further business growth

  • Manage sales process through partner prospecting, lead qualification, forecasting, resource allocation, account strategy and planning

  • Build an action plan, develop goals, strategies, tactics and timelines for Top 10 partners

  • Consult with partners and deliver incentives for growing business based on their needs

  • Maintain knowledge of the market and competitors

  • Clearly and effectively articulate compelling value propositions and solutions for Curvature's products to meet our partners client requirements

  • Effectively demonstrate value proposition in-person, on conference calls, or by using screen share technology

  • Manage complex sales-cycles utilizing Salesforce

  • Develop relationships with Curvature Account Managers to increase channel partnerships

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an IT sales role with demonstrated experience in consultative, enterprise-wide solution selling including ability to predict, build and present innovative and creative product offerings to targeted prospects including senior executives and technology teams

  • Consistent history of achieving and exceeding sales goals for the last 3 years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Business, Marketing, Finance or IT

  • Demonstrated new business sales expertise with proven results

  • Experience in IT industry specifically in sales and/or contract management

  • Excellent negotiation and consultation skills including ability to overcome objections and close complex, large-scale deals, both directly and working in collaboration with key channel partners

  • Ability to identify and target the decision-maker within a prospect and listen, ask questions, solve problems, and close deals

  • Independent and self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and independently while achieving results

  • Strong business acumen & consultative approach to sales

  • Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and order management systems such as SalesForce and Oracle to manage sales process

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships

  • Ability to work and promote a positive team environment

  • Results-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and remain calm in a fast pace environment

  • Ability to respond to rapid change, perform duties with accuracy and with a strong degree of urgency

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to solve problems and meet deadlines

The CAM owns responsibility for partner strategy, enablement, training and coordination with Zerto sales teams. Job Responsibilities * Establishes productive, professional relationships within assigned channel and alliance partners. * Collaborate and coordinate partner strategy with sales leadership, account executives, sales engineers and marketing, and alliance teams to meet regional sales objectives and partner's expectations. * Proactively lead joint partner planning process that develops mutual opportunities for success and productive partner relationship. (solution offers, performance objectives, deal registration targets, sales revenue targets) * Create linkage between partner executive leadership and Zerto sales/engineering leadership. * Identify opportunities to create linkage between Alliance partners (MS Azure, AWS, HPE, IBM) and Channel partner leading to increased awareness and opportunity. * Assist with sell through to end customers through the partner with particular focus on enterprise customers. * Manages potential channel conflict, works closely with partners and Zerto account managers using excellent communication skills both internally and externally and follows channel rules of engagement with the utmost integrity. * Ensures partner compliance with the ZAP Partner Program. * Drives adoption of Zerto ZAP and Partner trainings. Performance Measurements * Achieves or exceeds assigned sales quota in designated territory. * Achieves or exceeds assigned objectives including training metrics, deal registration metrics and new partners signed. * Maintains high partner satisfaction ratings per Zerto's company standards. Organizational Alignment * Reports to the Channel Director or Channel Manager depending upon geography. * Enlists the support of resources as required to ensure a successful channel. Resources include executive management, marketing, account managers and pre-sales engineers/ Qualifications * Four year college degree or higher * Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in technology sales.
