We're looking for an Account Executive to join our team in New York and become an integral part of our sales function.

As an Account Executive on our new business team, you will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities and driving growth with new clients and sectors across the variety of our revenue lines on Money20/20 US.

Key Resonsibilities:

  • You will be committed to customer service excellence and will have a role in developing and managing partnerships and business relationships with our key stakeholders.

  • Successfully achieve sales / revenue targets and performance objectives while managing time objectives both office and outside client meetings.

  • Effectively manage outgoing calls and meetings, both by phone and face to face in line with the KPI's expected and agreed to grow the business.

  • Ensure client relationships are created and maintained at all times.

  • Successfully achieve specified targets and performance objectives for sponsorship within your remit. Performance will be measured through clearly defined KPI's and will be solely new business

  • Be knowledgeable about market, customers, competitors and products in order to sell solutions to customers effectively

  • Maintain strong sales pipeline through effective relationship building, call management and lead generation.

  • Ensure accurate use and maintenance of system supporting sales activities (Salesforce)

  • Ensure sales administration activities (reports, meetings, plans etc.) are completed in effective and timely manner

  • Continually seek ways of improving contribution to the business and service to customers

Your Experience:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a B2B sales role

  • Confident verbal communications skills

  • Computer literate - knowledge of salesforce beneficial

  • Working knowledge of both payments and financial services

  • Media telephone sales experience desirable

  • Sponsorship sales experience preferred

  • Experience of selling within Financial Services market is desirable

As an Account Executive, you will be selling mobile location management and advertising solutions to the world's largest brands and agencies, leveraging your agency/client relationships within key NYC/East Coast markets. Your focus is the positioning, presentation, and execution of partnerships leveraging Gimbal's unique location technology and media execution platform. Who you are: * A tenacious sales professional - you love the thrill of landing a new account or sale and consistently strive to exceed expectations * A well-connected social butterfly - the only thing that grows faster than your closed sales is your Rolodex - your relationships span beyond whatever company you are with or product you are selling * A mover and a shaker – you're two steps ahead of the person who's two steps ahead, and you've probably already started your 30-60-90 day sales-plan * A structured planner - you know that early is on time and on time is late, and your calendar organization would make Marie Kondo jealous What you will be doing: * Leveraging your existing relationships with advertising agencies, brands, and clients to increase revenue through the presentation of Gimbal's services and suite of product offerings * Partnering with the Sales Planning team to create proposals in response to RFPs * Monitoring clients' campaign performance through a partnership with the Account Management team * Managing the pipeline of activity and providing regular status updates * Working with Creative, Marketing, and AdOps to develop market-leading proposals * Utilizing Gimbal's sales methodology from proposal to close * Evangelizing Gimbal in market and actively sharing materials on thought-leadership * Representing Gimbal's value proposition within the advertising community What you have: * 2-4 years of experience selling digital programmatic advertising * Thorough understanding of the digital media landscape * Experience selling managed service media campaigns * Working background with CRM tools such as Salesforce * Experience building and growing client relationships, with strong established agency relationships * Consultative selling, value selling, and negotiation skills * Knowledge of proximity location mobile technology, location-based ad-tech platforms, and/or data management solutions a plus Benefits & Perks.
