The Teterboro Learning Center is lookin for an Account Executive to join our Customer Support team, the Account Executive will work cooperatively throughout all levels of FlightSafety teams to successfully support FlightSafety's vision to be the world's premier aviation training company; known for its outstanding customer service, superior quality training and products, operational excellence and talented Teammates.

  • Receive and welcome all FlightSafety Learning Center guests; direct to the appropriate center or location

  • Receive and relay customer inquiries in a timely manner to appropriate Teammate or client

  • Perform administrative duties, including support of other departments which may include creating/typing/editing reports and documents

  • Operate full Microsoft Office Suite with excellent written communication skills

  • Attend training to increase skills applicable to job position and workplace issues

  • Able to utilize basic aviation terminology to properly interview and schedule customers and clients into requested and required courses

  • Create reports through Microsoft Excel to report performance in designated scheduling assignments; comfortable use of Microsoft Excel Macros, Charts, and formulas

  • Research and maintain Account Receivables by periodic invoicing, deposits, and collections, as required. This process includes contract research (terms, times, entitlement packages, etc.) and production of reports, as needed

  • Required to know the additional courses offered by FlightSafety International fitting to the Customer and work towards selling other products or services to increase center sales and revenue

  • Travel overnight as required (Minimal)

  • Work overtime as required

  • Adhere to required work schedule including prompt and regular attendance

  • Ability to learn FlightSafety specific software, and work independently to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Associate's degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school preferred, or three (3) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years' experience substitution must be in related field such as hospitality or administration.

Fluency in English; able to speak, understand, read and write

General knowledge of the following software: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Windows

S/he is responsible for managing the relationship between the information technology team, project managers, product managers, and business stakeholders. The account manager works closely with business to identify, document, and manage technology needs. Validates and collaborates on requirements, use cases, design specifications, business process changes developed in conjunction with business analysts and recommends the proposed solution. Serve as an escalation point with the business for all technology issues. As part of a highly collaborative team, the role will interact with many technical and business resources across the enterprise. The ideal candidate is a committed, creative, self‐motivated technologist who is interested in practicing his or her skills and learning new ones. Primary Duti es and Responsibilities Cultivate relationships with business unit managers and leaders to understand their technology needs and demonstrate the value of technology first solutions Partner with business stakeholders and technology team members to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements. Assist in the development of requirements, use cases, business process models, logical system designs and high level estimations. Assist in the development of documentation, test program development, logic, process flows and specifications. Analyze data and recognize trends to develop business solutions. Provide input to business cases based on business knowledge Partner with business partners to conduct user acceptance testing Document user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures Coordinate the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget Evaluate technology deliveries and monitor customer responses Work collaboratively with business representatives, project management, and the information technology organization to develop and implement specific technology necessary to deliver business solutions. Experience, Education and Skills Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration. Exemplary written and verbal communications skills Experience in medium to large project management required. Experience in regulated industry preferred. Six years related work experience in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. Special emphasis in the area of systems validation including developing systems validation plans, test plans, test cases and various life cycle reporting Thorough understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and validation techniques. Technical training in systems analysis, programming, testing and systems validation required.
