  • Serve as the right hand to Managing Director
  • Oversee direct reports and approve their contributions

  • Lead day -to-day client deliverables

  • Financial reporting for all team costs
  • Set quality standards for the team and enforce adherence

  • Direct liaison/partner with Project Management and Production (video/photography) agency leads
  • Collaborate with Partnership agencies lead to identify & negotiate partnerships with like-minded brands
  • Fostering collaboration between Senior Management, Project Management, Creative, Strategy, and Business Management on response
  • Experience in channel planning and evaluating media plans; integrating both traditional and digital
  • New Business support for Managing Director, including:
    • Crafting written response to RFPs
    • Developing proposed Scope of Work
    • Fostering collaboration between Senior Management, Project Management, Creative, Strategy, and Business Management on response
  • Manage billing and account receivable and ensure timely client invoice approval/payment
  • Request resource allocations for assignments
  • Share work with appropriate disciplines and teams
  • Brief Creative, Media and Strategy teams
  • Provide analysis and rationale for strategy and briefs to client for comments/approval
  • Present recommendations to client with appropriate leadership
  • Initiate creative business building ideas
  • Develop and negotiate staffing plans based on scope of work
  • Facilitate hiring, managing, developing and promoting team members
  • Participate in weekly departmental staff meetings
  • Attend interdepartmental briefings
  • Collaborate with departments to create/revise SAQ
  • Update Managing Director on work status


  • 7- 10+ years experience within an advertising/marketing agency
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships
  • Understanding of multi-platform media strategy
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Technically savvy
  • Team builder
  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
  • Bachelors degree

About the Role: The Associate Media Director (AMD) manages client's day-to-day tactical needs. Develops strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders at partner agencies. Plans, directs & coordinates media programs for clients. Responsible for quality control of media planning and implementation. Key Responsibilities: Knowledge * Solid understanding of qualitative and quantitative business information used by clients in their day-to-day activities * Extensive knowledge of role, strengths and weaknesses of a variety of media channels * Deep, expert understanding of media buying and planning. Ensure the brand strategy is adhered to * Advances best practices in agency process * Manages day-to-day media needs, brings recommendations and optimizations to the team * Responsible for delivering highest quality media planning (& results analysis) for clients * Analysis: Transforms research data into actionable customer insights, observations and conclusions * Plans and executes media plans and provides analysis when necessary * DH: Search Engine Marketing responsibilities: online media plan recommendations; negotiating with 3rd party sites; implementing buys; working with research tools, rich media, and 3rd party ad-servers * Financials: Owns the revenue & projections of the brand. Develops, reviews, revises and manages time spent on projects (e.g., SOW's).
