POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Director manages all aspects of a client's business. The primary goal is to provide exceptional client experience and increase customer satisfaction, by having a deep understanding of the client's key business issues and providing products and services to help address those needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated, with a passion for managing client needs and taking their business to the next level. Key factors for this position are not only technical aptitude, but also being a problem solver, continuous learner, and great business partner.

Area of Focus:

Prepare long-term and short-term account goals

Serve as point of contact for customers in portfolio

Learn and comprehend customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business

Ensure timely delivery of services and products to clients

Build credibility and long-term customer relationships

Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen customer confidence

Manage large volumes of data to help produce management, operations and financial insights

Drive and prioritize multiple initiatives alongside the Engineering team

Manage complex escalations in a timely and efficient manner (as needed), while effectively balancing business and technical risks

SUPERVISORY EXPECTATIONS

This position is not have supervisory in nature but is expected to mentor new team members and junior level positions.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

3-5 years of account management preferably in the financial services industry

A strong client management background and experience with client management tools

Ability to work with business executives all the way down to critical payment operations personnel

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Experience in payments (and with billion-dollar payments systems) a plus
