We are seeking a public relations professional to lead client accounts by overseeing the day to day projects and/or events to ensure the quality of work meets objectives and provides value.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and cultivating relationships with clients & external audiences.
  • Managing account administration such as billing and financial reporting.
  • Recommending and implementing initiatives that will improve the publics perception of the client.
  • Partnering with client and potentially other stakeholders to develop and complete communications plans.
  • Developing original media plans, and story development concept for client.
  • Participating in solving practice management issues and providing input to defining the direction of the practice.


  • Minimum of 6 years of previous public relations work or communications experience.
  • Seasoned writing skills; ability to write for senior level management and audiences.
  • Experience with crisis communication, reactive public relations and crisis management.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple accounts and multi-task.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate account staff, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations and produce program outlines for creative brainstorms.
  • Strong strategic-thinking skills, and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations.
  • Ability to develop and present new business pitches, and strong project-management skills.
  • Proven relationships with the media and familiarity with the newest media outlets.

This includes the execution of brands within retail stores with responsibility for the overall financial performance of each outlet and the combined portfolio as well as developing additional opportunities with existing clients and exploring new client partnerships. This individual leads the activities necessary to ensure relevant, authentic and inspiring dining experiences within a retail store by delivering outstanding food & service to achieve positive financial results while showcasing Aramark's capabilities in the channel. This individual will combine strong leadership skills with operational & business development expertise to lead a team of General Managers, supervisors and hourly employees in the daily delivery of high quality food offerings, superior customer service and the delivery of expected financial results within a mixed-used retail environment. This role is also responsible for managing client relationships, providing updates, analysis, and insights to the client and partnering with client in developing sales driving initiatives. GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: The National Account Director is responsible for overall planning, direction and control of retail client's dining program which includes various brands operating individually in multiple stores. Intended outcomes include accelerated revenue growth, efficient operating costs and increased consumer satisfaction. The role also ensures that fiscal and managerial compliance is executed at all times and develops a talented and engaged work force. SCOPE OF ROLE: Districts vary in size but generally range from 20 to 30 retail locations with total managed volume of $10M–$20M and 10-20 retail managers and supervisors as direct reports. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following professional experience and skills: * Demonstrated experience in effectively operating a multi-franchise, multi-store * Demonstrated experience in multiple new retail store openings where sites opened effectively, efficiently, and within timelines. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment within a heavily matrixed organization. * Strong organizational, project and time management skills. * National brand, foodservice and/or retail operations experience desirable. * Experience as the main point of contact within a managed services environment is highly preferred. * Experience overseeing a budget or revenue of at least 10 million dollars. * Experienced in retail marketing; has a good understanding of and can execute marketing basics including grand opening plans, display, merchandising, promotion, cross-promotion, sampling, event marketing, in-store consumer media and communications. * Optimal candidate will have existing relationships with multiple Aramark functional disciplines including but not limited to Channel, Development, Engineering Solutions, Finance, IT, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain and know how to quickly "Rally The Troops" around key Pilot Objectives. EDUCATION The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A master's degree / MBA is strongly preferred. TRAVEL Approximately 75%.
