Title: Account Development Manager
About the Job: We are looking for a talented and competitive Account Development Manager to join our growing Sales and Marketing Team. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
As a team member you will be responsible for generating and qualifying interest in the Vbrick solution through intelligent conversations with potential customers.
Your role essentially breaks down into four parts:
Research, identify, and prospect for new clients
Follow-up promptly and qualify inbound leads and track activity in CRM
Schedule quality appointments and participate in customer demos with your Account Executives
Create and add new opportunities to the pipeline
This position reports to the Director of Marketing, but truly acts as a conduit for sales and marketing alignment. Your success will be driven by your ability to multitask, remain extremely organized both with your time and tracking sales activities, and be able to develop relationships with current and potential customers, channel partners, as well as the entire Vbrick team that you will interact with on a daily basis.
Achievement will be measured quarterly and based on the number of Sales Accepted Opportunities you generate. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
Uncover and fully understand customer needs and requirements.
Qualify leads based on script-based inquiry and discovery.
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
Research accounts using tools such as LinkedIn and Discoverorg.com to identify key players and generate interest.
Deliver effective presentation and high-level demonstrations to prospects.
Minimum of 2-4 years inside sales experience in the enterprise software industry cloud, networks, collaboration, and video are major advantages.
Proven track record of over-achieving quota.
Strong team attitude with willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
Polished phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
Proficiency with tools such as SalesForce CRM and WebEx is essential.
Excellent verbal, written, listening and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
BA/BS degree or equivalent
