Demonstrated experience, ability and skill working in a high volume, fast-paced environment and requires the need to use good judgment due to conflicting or multiple goals and priorities in a healthcare setting or customer-service environment required.

Ability to multi-task using a computer and telephone simultaneously while interpreting the needs of patients required.

Ability to work with frequent interruptions required.

Ability to take accurate messages and information and relay them accurately and timely to appropriate staff required.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information required.

Demonstrated work experience in a healthcare and/or customer service environment to interact with people from diverse educational, economic, ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds required.

Excellent speaking and writing skills to clearly and distinctly convey information to individuals in various organizational levels, using proper vocabulary and grammar required.

Skill in listening and be able to interpret the needs of the patient, guest or caller and effectively address their needs and/or communicate accurately their needs for further follow-up required.

Ability to represent UCLA in a positive, professional manner required.

Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with faculty, staff and others in order to solve problems required.

Demonstrated experience working with a diverse population of patients and knowledge of different cultures required.

Demonstrated skill in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required.

Ability to speak other non-english languages preferred.

Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with persons of all cultures and positions, including physicians, UCLA executives, directors and managers, foreign national royalties, government officials, diplomats, celebrities and other noteworthy individuals required.

Ability to interact effectively with a variety of behaviors including hostility and non-cooperation required.

Knowledge of EPIC/CareConnect required.

Ability to communicate and explain UCLA policies & procedures to patients and/or their representatives diplomatically and effectively required.

Knowledge of UCLA referral, admissions, accounting/billing and other systems required.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the International Services Finance Manager, responsible for helping mitigate financial losses to the organization - review, analyze and verify patients' hospital and physician accounts for accuracy. Ensure that all charges reflect on patients' accounts and follow up with patients and payors to ensure that payments are received for outstanding accounts within agreed upon time frames.

Ensure that all financial arrangements including adequate deposits and authorizations are in place. Support International Services as needed.

Qualifications

This position will be located in Hollywood, CA Job Description The Account Coordinator is responsible for coordinating titles and projects requested by Deluxe Media's clients. The position is responsible for all aspects of job coordination including client communication, job entry, project tracking, element shipping, file delivery, recognition of sales opportunities, and billing preparation. Creates loyal customers by providing exceptional customer service. Primary Responsibilities * Prepare and communicate pricing quotes and project estimates * Creates and enters client job orders into database * Schedules jobs with Studio Operations Department and consults with Senior Production Lead and Director of Audio Operations as needed * Create, maintain, and communicate project timelines and budgets to clients * Maintains grids and/or databases with daily status updates for respective clients * Develops and nurtures an understanding of audio procedures and processes * Greets and assists clients visiting facility and interfaces with clients * Assists Senior Production Lead in correspondence with clients regarding job orders including: * Budgets, job revisions, and answering client questions * Anomaly reports and quality issues * Completion e-mails, shipping instructions, and file delivery * Coordinates orders with outside departments, vendors, and freelance engineers in conjunction with Studio Operations department: * Orders dubs, subtitling, etc. * Coordinates offsite mixing, restoration, and editorial services * Checks on orders and projects after each step to ensure clients are notified in a timely manner of any problems, additional costs, and changes in schedule * Ensures deliverables meet all client specifications and are delivered on time * Researches previous orders and special projects as directed * Provides back-up coverage for other Account Coordinators, Leads, or Directors during time off * Monitors and updates billing status for Leads/Directors * Prepares invoices for review within three days of project completion * Ships client elements out of facility per company procedure * Assists in taking new sales calls * Other duties as assigned Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set: * BA or BS degree preferred * 2-3 years of previous experience in post-production projection management preferred * Must be proficient with mac software as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and database applications * Must have strong interpersonal skills * Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced, large team environment * Individual must also be able to work independently within their own process * Previous experience in film, television, and/or audio restoration/preservation is preferred, but not required * Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines If you're an independent thinker with a high level of ingenuity and the above qualifications, then we'd like you to join our team!
