SmithBucklin and one of its subsidiary companies, SDI, is looking for a Full-Time Account Coordinator to join our team in Chicago. What You Will Do

Manage day to day operations for the SDI Team including:

  • Answer incoming calls and route to the proper person, providing quick and accurate results for our clients

  • Build and sustain strong client relations through attentive detail in handling requests

  • Provide administrative support to the staff team, including mailings, site searches and basic program support

  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies, manage calendars and supplier meeting requests

  • Work directly with the executive team to coordinate travel, meeting and event arrangements for VIP clients

  • Allocate time according to budget provided by project; ensuring work has been completed effectively to meet deadlines

  • Facilitate continuous communication between the SDI Team, clients and attendees to meet the needs of client organizations

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution, ideally with a degree in Hospitality or Event Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with etouches and/or Cvent is a plus

  • Database management experience is a plus
