Job_Req_12320Student Memberships - Account CoordinatorThe role of the Account Coordinator is to work closely with the Student Memberships sales team to ensure that the client experiences a first class relationship with Dow Jones and support the smooth operations of sales. The Account Coordinator will work closely with all Sales Representatives in support of sales activities, contracting, setup of client accounts and ongoing account changes. Their main goal is to remove administrative tasks from the Sales team so they can focus on selling.Additional responsibilities for the Account Coordinator include:* Working directly with clients to implement new accounts and provide support for the ongoing relationship such as account/technology access issues and invoicing questions.

  • Working with the sales team to assist with account usage, billing or other data analysis.

  • Work with activation manager to discuss campus marketing and communication plans and help identify appropriate contacts.

  • Where appropriate, the Coordinator's customer interaction will be via telephone and email.

  • Work with accounts to obtain information as needed.Analysis & Reporting

    * Compile regular or ad-hoc reports on account users and billing.
  • Prepare user or usage reporting as needed by sales.

  • Partner with the sales and Billing/Collections to resolve billing issues.

  • Work with customer service or other internal departments to resolve any client issues.Account Set-up

    * Collect confirmation documents to verify customer orders, cancellations or changes.
  • Update information in global CRM system.

  • Manage technology implementation between school and Dow Jones stakeholders.REQUIREMENTS* 1-3+ years sales support experience. Experience working and speaking with clients

  • College degree (or equivalent), preferably in marketing, communications, or a business discipline.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proven presentation skills. Includes ability to speak equally effectively with both high-level administrators and undergraduate students.

  • Excellent organizational skills, enabling strong territory management and prompt customer follow-up.

  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint needed.

The position is responsible for leading the generation of optimal access and reimbursement for the BMS portfolio across all assigned accounts. These include the largest payers in the county. PBMs, Insurers, VA/DoD and other national customers. These accounts have business across all channels, Commercial, Medicare Part D/B, Managed Medicaid and ACA Exchanges. Deep knowledge and understanding of the clinical, economic and business model dynamics driving decision making and coverage by him/her and their team is critical. They are responsible for establishing personal business relationships with senior level leaders at these accounts. The ED monitors the effective delivery of approved clinical and economic data and business plan execution. They also play an important role in setting brand payer strategies with home office brand leadership. The position serves as the primary leadership interface between BMS/VA&P and our national payer customers. The position reports directly to the VP, Payer and Organized Customer Sales and has 6 direct reports. Responsibilities Ensuring flawless delivery of all access, value, PHM, quality, and unbranded payer messages and tools Leads generation of optimal access, reimbursement and utilization for full portfolio Helps drive appropriate utilization through plan clinical management programs and tools Assist in the delivery of plan specific negotiation strategies, with GTN discipline for applicable products in the US BMS portfolio Establishment of direct relationships with C-Suite and key decision makers for team and self Evaluate and monitor individual account access strategies, portfolio and team performance Coach and train an industry best national account team Alignment with the field medical, HEOR, sales and other leadership on deliverables Coordinate matrix team resources and facilitate senior executive interactions as appropriate Drive full compliance to all applicable laws and comply with BMS policies and procedures by team and self Bring customer insights into creation of brand/business access strategies Represent BMS leadership at key national payer meetings (PCMA, AMCP, ARMADA, NCCN, etc.) Qualifications Bachelors degree Minimum of 15+ years of Pharmaceutical and/or Healthcare experience Payer sales and sales leadership experience (7+ years) Marketing/Home Office experience (3-5+ years) Proven leadership skills with experience leading a field based team Demonstrated familiarity with national payers, payer KOLs and plan senior leaders Proven analytical and negotiation skills Possess executive presence and the ability to close deals with managed care and government payers Demonstrated ability to develop customer centric approaches, leverage multi-disciplinary capabilities and resources in order to realize coverage objectives Demonstrated written and oral communication skills Oncology, Biologics, Specialty and Physician Administered drug expertise Bristol Myers Squibb Princeton NJ
