Job Description

Milwaukee-based Event Marketing Company seeks full-time Event Account Manager and Customer Service Representatives to manage events around the greater Milwaukee area.
The Account Manager will work closely with the Creative Director to develop concepts, design events and submit proposals to clients. The Event Account Manager will be required to work nights, weekends, and travel outside the Milwaukee to execute a given event.

Knowledge & Experience

Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills
Ability to work up and down organization's hierarchy / departments
Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments
Ability to multi-task on several, unrelated projects simultaneously
Self-starting, focused and client-oriented
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work with Mac based applications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite products
Flexible schedule
Must Have Reliable Transportation.

VIEW JOBS 5/21/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-08-19T00:00 Position Reports to: Director of Logistics Position Summary: Under general supervision, solicits freight from logistics customers to move nationwide; handles all processes of moving a brokered load from pick-up to delivery; and works with other departments as needed in order to provide complete service to customers. Essential Functions: * Serves as broker to load carriers and customers in order to meet expectations of both parties; maintains flow of communication between drivers, West Side and customers; and works to resolve issues that come up during loads to ensure each load is delivered on-time and in the condition it was intended to be. * Processes loads from the time of receipt to the time of delivery; enters load information into computer system at time of receipt from customer; updates all load postings through DAT 360, and other load posting web-sites as instructed. * Monitors West Side rate charges in order to move shipments at the profitability level required; informs interested customers on rate charges as requested; and determines carrier rates by load basis in order to maintain profit levels. * Provides load information to be passed on as daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports for management review. * Works with Customer Service department in order to move excess loads. * Maintains updated carrier information in computer system. * Performs other related duties as requested. Necessary Qualifications: One-year experience in the area of Customer Service or related field required; AS/400 experience preferred; ability to type 40 w.p.m. preferred; excellent customer service and communication skills required. Physical Qualifications: Sitting, talking on the phone and entering data into the computer for extended periods of time required.
