Account Consultant, Eye Care - Buy and Bill

A "perfect" candidate for this role is someone with sound knowledge of Ophthalmology and Buy & Bill with 3+ years in that market and can demonstrate solid results.

Successful candidates have at least 3 of the following types of experience:

  • Eye Care

  • Buy & Bill

  • Product Launch

  • 3 years of sales experience

  • Multiple top 1/4 finishes in rankings

YOU WILL:

  • Achieve and exceed on your assigned sales goals through effective prospecting, onboarding and expansion of use for designated buy and bill eye care products.

  • Deliver technical product and procedure training; consultative selling and comprehensive account management to support customer adoption and broaden utilization.

  • Effectively utilize Allergan sales and data resources to enhance productivity and growth of Allergan products while implementing the U.S. Marketing Plan.

  • Comply with all company policies, required reports, requests and promotional compliance and effectively manages Allergan field assets.

  • Understand and utilize resources to increase adoption of the Allergan portfolio, and develop maintain effective working relationships and actively coordinate with other Allergan sales and support teams. These teams include, but are not limited to Allergan sales teams, Customer Service (Austin), RBAs, MSLs, Key Account Managers, and Marketing.

YOU BRING:

  • A minimum of 3 years Specialty Sales Experience

  • Eye Care Sales Experience (Preferred)

  • A "team player" mentality and successful history as an individual contributor within a collaborative team

  • A Valid Driver's License

  • Experience selling in a "buy and bill" Medicare part B/Medical benefit environment and understanding of reimbursement challenges and opportunities preferred

  • Complete account management experience to ensure "procedure based" therapy adoption success

  • Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training and meetings

Position Overview: Job Summary: The Account Specialist for Chronic Migraine promotes BOTOX® to community practices and health systems, with a focus on the Chronic Migraine indication, in partnership with the Account Specialist for Spasticity and Movement Disorders counterpart. Customer accounts may include community/private practices, community-based hospitals, academic medical centers, and government accounts (military treatment facilities and/or Veteran's Affairs Medical Centers). The Account Specialist for Chronic Migraine develops and maintains relationships within various accounts/departments such as neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and primary care. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: % of Time or Importance * Promote BOTOX® to meet/exceed sales goals in community/private practices as well as hospitals/health systems. * 20% * Continually analyze the business and develop/execute a growth-oriented business plan that will enable identification, training, and development of new BOTOX® Chronic Migraine injectors and advocates. * 20% * Develop professional relationships at various levels within all relevant accounts/departments to further the use of BOTOX® for the treatment of Chronic Migraine. * 20% * Identify/uncover customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address with appropriate Allergan resources. * 10% * Expert delivery of anatomical/procedural information and training, including the appropriate use of anatomical terminology to train the BOTOX® Chronic Migraine injection paradigm, while highlighting various anatomical and injection insights and considerations. * 10% * Provide BOTOX® education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other key hospital personnel. * 10% * Collaborate with the Account Specialist for Spasticity and Movement Disorders and Account Specialist for Urology partners to promote BOTOX® for approved indications and execute individual, department, or group resident/fellow trainings within hospital/health system accounts.
