This position is responsible for providing organizational, technical, and analytical support for the overall fiscal activities of the Lee County Library System.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary functions of this position include: preparing financial reports, processing purchase orders and payments for grant and general operating expenditures, performing detailed research, analysis, and any other general accounting support functions.
Will also perform clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and copying.
Duties are performed under the direction of the Fiscal Manager.
Requires any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED and three years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Requires possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Requires the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able deal with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
Must be able to operate a ten-key calculator.
The County may require employees to make a temporary, long-term, or permanent transfer to another Library location to accommodate the organization's business needs.
Work Hours and Days: 80 hours biweekly, Monday - Friday.
