JOB OVERVIEW: The purpose of this position is to enter, review, tag, and dispose of fixed assets as well as provide customer service. This position acts under the supervision of the Financial Reporting Manager.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Reviews, stuffs, and disseminates Accounts Payable checks.

• Develop and maintains accounting records for Fixed Assets.

• Organizes County surplus sales and addresses disposal of Fixed Assets.

• Cross-trained on customer service tasks, including merchant license processing, and serves as backup for Registrar personnel, including liquor license processing and notary public applications.

• Answers and directs incoming telephone calls and greets and directs visitors.

REQUIREMENTS:

• General/technical high school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Two to three years experience working as an account clerk.

• Additional accounting training and/or course work desired.
