Benton County Circuit Court is hiring an Administrative Analyst (OJD Analyst 2). This is a supportive role to the Trial Court Administrator to help make the best-informed decisions for process improvement, training, and workflow. Our customers are members of our community, and may be facing challenging circumstances, high levels of stress, trauma, or behavioral health issues. We strive to provide excellent customer service for all our customers, and work as a team to continually evaluate and improve our service levels. We seek candidates who support Oregon Judicial Department's efforts to remove the barriers to access the justice services our customers need. What Administrative Analysts do... You will act as the point person for ongoing analysis of administrative practices, providing information and guidance to staff in response to questions regarding court operations and training. This includes working with operational units to identify needs, developing training curriculum for end users and assisting management in training end users on the court's internal case management system, financial systems, Windows and document management systems. You will update and maintain rights and roles in the court's case management system and create and analyze reports from this same system. You will be expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of court operations and business practices and to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies within those systems. You will also create and document case flow management, using Microsoft Visio, and implement court research projects. You will perform various human resource functions on behalf of the court administrator and court management. This will include handling confidential information, compiling data, and managing sensitive information. You will oversee and monitor the court's local operational budget, evaluate expenditures, manage the procurement process, act as onsite contact for deliveries, and coordinate with OJD's Procurement Office for best practices and procedures. Lastly, you will serve as project lead for court facility improvements and coordinate and communicate with the many interested parties about project status, needs, and changes. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs. Who We Need... We need candidates who value accuracy and are detail-oriented when performing research and analysis. We need someone who has technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with virtual meeting platforms to support remote court hearings. We also need someone who enjoys customer service and being part of a team. Most importantly, you will be part of Oregon's judicial branch of government, which works to "…protect the rights of individuals, preserve community welfare, and inspire public confidence" by providing access to justice services for Oregonians. We welcome all candidates who are inspired by our work and mission. What can help you get a chance to interview? It's important to know your application will be read by an actual person, not a computer algorithm. When we read your cover letter, we are looking to see if you are writing to us, at OJD, and whether you have addressed the Requested Skills and Attributes listed below. Using a generic cover letter is likely not going to get you an interview, so please take the time needed to personalize your cover letter. Instructions for Cover Letter, Work History or Resume This recruitment requires a cover letter and a complete work history that addresses the Requested Skills and Attributes. To be considered for this position, you must follow these instructions: Resume/Work History * Attach your updated resume in the Resume / CV / Cover Letter section of the application.
