Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with customers and technician via email, over the phone

  • Listen to customer needs, identify issues quickly, and act to assist in a prompt, courteous, professional manner. Advise the designated supervisor of all serious complaints and incidents before they escalate.

  • Assist in developing and training new and current team members.

  • Evaluate customer needs and guide customers to solutions that fit those needs.

  • Sustain updated procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints or disputes.

  • Provide a constant and accurate daily account of incoming calls as well as a daily completion of customer service records.

  • Exercise and promote teamwork, supporting the objectives and policies of the RKO Team. Extend a good personal example of attitude and performance.

  • Submit recommendations to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Encourage and support valuable, supportive flow of communication with company team members.

  • Perform clerical duties, maintain customer service files, gather data, produce reports, and administer correspondence as requested by management.

  • Learn and understand our brands, products, and customer base.

  • Create and achieve performance goals in line with the company's goals.

  • Perform various general clerical duties; maintain various files and data; produce reports and correspondence for the designated supervisor and the Sale and Operations group.

  • Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. Cross-train in other functional areas of Operations.

  • Maintain a good flow of communication with all the office personnel.

Educational Requirements and

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred and a minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in customer service.

Complete transactions according to established guidelines; complexity of transactions performed varies by Teller level. Identifies referral opportunities and makes appropriate referrals. Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individual's span of control comply with all regulations and the Truist Code of Conduct. Pursue on-going education of Truist products, services, and other lines of business. Demonstrates mastery of basic teller transaction and balancing duties. Consistently follows defined procedures for bank operations and client service, including consistent practice of behaviors that contribute to the Exceptional Branch and Exceptional Client Experiences. Possesses a broader knowledge of banking policies and procedures. Develops expertise in all types of branch transactions including, but not limited to foreign exchange, night deposits, ATM balancing and more in-depth system knowledge. Incumbents in this position are trained and rewarded for identifying client needs and making appropriate referrals. Basic Requirements: - Mastery of the Truist Teller I duties or six months of Teller Service at a comparable financial institution or retail service and sales experience. - Must have cash handling or payment transactions and client facing experience. - Basic math and numeric sequencing aptitude. - Willing and able to follow instructions and work under established guidelines. Preferred Requirements: - One year of experience as a Teller and/or completion of Core and Intermediate STU Curriculum Training as well as any corresponding Teller coursework. - Demonstrated ability to uncover referral opportunities. - Knowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions.
