The Access Management Analyst is primarily responsible for performing activities focusing on Identity and Access Management. This includes provisioning and de-provisioning employees and contractors, managing the user lifecycle in the IAM platform, and providing assistance for various access questions. This position will also investigate, diagnose and repair user identities issues and to ensure compliance with MISO access management policies. The position will be responsible for administration of the access tool to add new and update applications and the relevant information, as well as, provide assistance on entitlement reviews and service account management.
Maintain access management systems, policies and procedures.
Coordinate cyber security audits, including quarterly entitlement reviews, gathering of evidence for quarterly and annual audits from NERC, SOC1 and Internal Audit controls and External Audits.
Participate in projects that enhance the customer experience, result in process improvements and help implement new functionality focusing on Identity Access Management (IAM).
Deploy security measures, technologies and meet audit requirements
Provide timely response and resolution to access issues encountered by employees and contractors
Test system patches and enhancements to ensure efficacy prior to production deployment
Able to work a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related field or seven years relevant work experience, required
Identity & Access Management or Cyber Security Experience, strongly preferred
Knowledge of Active Directory, preferred
Specific experience with any of the following preferred:
One to four years' of recent experience with centralized, user based provisioning system/identify and access management support required
Knowledge of a broad set of systems (Active Directory, UNIX, LDAP, databases, etc.)
Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge
Demonstrated understanding of modern Identity & Access Management concepts and best practices required.
Aptitude for performing root cause analysis and recognizing opportunities for process improvement.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (both written and verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills) to a broad audience.
Cyber Security fundamentals and best practices
Proven ability to exercise solid judgment when problem solving and troubleshooting
Familiarity with audit best practices
Knowledge of Oracle database applications
Proactive attitude toward solving problems
