Job Title: Academy Student Services Coordinator
Reports To: Academy Summer Program Manager
Classification: Salaried- Exempt
The Student Service Coordinator provides a high-level support to the Academy staff and helps to provide a high-quality student life. Duties of the Student Services Coordinator are clerical, administrative and project-based and include tasks such as compiling Visa paperwork, coordinating appointments, and handling information requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned;
Report attendance and out ills to Artistic and Administrative Staff.
Coordinate the physical education credit program.
Work with artistic staff and Artistic Operations Manager to coordinate parent observation weeks.
Maintain a high level of targeted communication with parents by working with the Marketing Coordinator to create informative e-blasts throughout the year.
Coordinate requests for student participation for public relations and development events.
Assist in roommate connections for upper level students, maintain and distribute apartment guide.
Acquire necessary information for student VISA applications and complete full application process through SEVIS for both full year and summer programs.
Answer HB Academy emails and parent questions.
Assist students with making Doctor, Rehabilitation, and Nutrition appointments.
Coordinate Pilates appointments
Coordinate with ESL teacher for Academics
Support students with Career Planning by:
Scheduling photo shoots
Research and present upcoming audition opportunities
Serve as liaison with the Academic Advisor with parents and Administrative Director.
Manage study hall calendar and attendance records
Gather all appropriate academic paperwork to assist advisor with academic planning
Distribute end of semester reports
Plan and execute graduation
Coordinate the short term stay visits
Securing dates, housing and transportation
Providing a high-quality introduction to student life
-ientify and request support from CPR parents for events throughout the year.
Assist with the planning and execution of Methodist Events, Open House, Prom and special events.
Work with Principal of Lower and Middle School to increase meet and greet opportunities.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree is preferred
1-3 years work experience supporting students
Experience working with a classical ballet company or other arts organization is preferred
Background knowledge of dance/ ballet vocabulary preferred
Solid writing, grammar, proof reading, editing and presentation skills
Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

Regular Monday- Friday 9AM-5PM with the availability to frequently work outside of normal business hours and on weekends
