Academic Youth Programs - Camp Nurse (Seasonal/Temp)

Summary of Position: The Academic Youth Programs seasonal temp would serve in the capacity determined by the Director, which could include general clerical work, event preparation, and/or communication.

Duties and Responsibilities

• General clerical support for the projects and tasks associated with the youth program initiatives

• Communication between grant county schools, volunteers, IWU students, and other IWU staff, prepping needed materials for event, and follow-up communication for event survey assessment

• Fulfill all other duties as assigned

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

• Bachelor's in Nursing is required

Experience

• Experience working in a similar type of role

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Demonstrated ability and experience working with secondary and higher education

Required Skills

• Proficient computer skills-Microsoft Office Suite

• Personable and strong people skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
