The Opportunity:

The Academic Support Coordinator II position provides technical support and coordination in Interfolio to include promotion and tenure, incentive awards, Excellence Awards, sabbaticals, professional development program, and faculty annual report and evaluation.

Works independently, this position will work with the Assistant Director to facilitate various projects with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate, monitor, and troubleshoot all Interfolio templates and cases (promotion and tenure, awards, sabbaticals, professional development program, and faculty annual report and evaluation) in consultation with Assistant Director (monitor progress of dossiers and applications).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate entry and edit of cases and steps in Interfolio. For promotion this includes tenure and non-tenure tracks, instructors/lecturers, and instructional designers/librarians. For Incentive Awards this includes Teaching Incentive Program, Research Incentive Program and Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. For Excellence Awards this includes but is not limited to: Excellence in Graduate Teaching, Excellence in Research, Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, Pegasus Professor Award, Reach for the Stars Award, and Trustee Chair Professorship. This list also includes sabbaticals, professional development program, and faculty annual report and evaluation.

  • Coordinate through the generation of Interfolio reports to monitor cases, dossiers, and application progression through close out for promotion and/or tenure, awards, sabbaticals, and professional development program step management includes, but is not limited to: list of cases and status, and report of process forms for data documentation.

  • Coordinate through generation of Interfolio reports to monitor faculty annual report and evaluation step management include, but is not limited to: list of cases, status, assignments, forms, award application cases not submitted.

  • Coordinate collection of faculty application names for entry in Interfolio. Verify committee members are in compliance with regulations (service eligibility).

  • Coordinate intake and tracking of Annual Evaluation Standards and Procedures (AESPs) and promotion criteria, for departments, schools, units, and colleges.

  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, verbal and written communication abilities is a strong necessity.

  • Coordinate tremendous amounts of details regarding promotion and tenure, awards, sabbaticals, professional development program, faculty annual reports and evaluations, using Excel.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree.

  • Prior higher education experience.

  • Application of advanced Excel skills.

  • Ability to clean, manipulate, and organize raw data.

  • 1-3+ years of relevant work experience.

  • Works independently with general supervision.

  • Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.

  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
