Job Title: Academic Resource Assistant (Part-time)
Hours: 20 hours per week including nights and weekends. Reeg Academic Resource Center hours range from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the week, with varying weekend hours.

Purpose of Job: To provide professional support, student supervision, and consistency for the academic resources offered by the Reeg Academic Resource Center. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining the efficient operation of the Tutoring Program and Writing Center, monitor designated locations on the Webster University campus that offer tutoring and writing appointments, coordinate coaching and tutoring matters and activities with representatives at metro locations, develop academic support resources, plan and organize academic resource events (including summer programming), and perform basic office work and tasks as requested.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
Provide superior customer service
Check emails and promptly return them, using appropriate etiquette in all correspondence
Greet visitors to the Reeg Academic Resource Center and designated campus sites
Monitor designated locations at the Webster University campus offering tutoring and writing appointments (both within the Reeg ARC and other campus sites) and communicate with Reeg ARC staff to ensure proper operations of the locations
Collaborate with student employees (peer tutors and writing coaches) to assist with daily operations of the Tutoring Program and Writing Center
Collaborate with representatives at metro locations on coaching and tutoring related matters and activities
Schedule tutoring and writing appointments for students with Reeg Academic Resource Center's peer tutors and writing coaches and assist with appointment documentation and data collection
Conduct learning support research and create academic resource handouts and Reeg ARC promotional items
Assist with planning, organizing, and implementing Reeg ARC academic events throughout the year (including the Reeg ARC's residential summer academic program), and communicate with faculty, staff, and students about them
Clerical tasks: emailing, filing, making copies, sending faxes, and other tasks as needed
Attend all mandatory training sessions and complete all employee paperwork, payroll tracking and approval, etc., by designated deadlines
Required Qualifications:
Earned degree of bachelor's or higher

Keen awareness of confidentiality regarding student records
Basic familiarity with computers and office machinery
