Teachers of Academic Intervention (Math & ELA)

Grades K-5 (District)

Requirements:

• New Jersey Elementary Instructional Certificate

• Extensive training/experience in teaching Language Arts Literacy and Math (preferred)

• Proficient in Guided Reading and Guided Math instruction

• Specialized training in working with at-risk students (who may also be receiving other district services)

• Knowledge of MTSS (particularly Tiers II and III)

• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated, targeted instruction to students

• Able to maintain, interpret, and utilize student data for making instructional decisions

• Willingness to work collaboratively with data teams, building leadership, and district administration

• Minimum of five years successful teaching experience

• Bilingual (a plus)
